Yoongi lost. He had lost all those years ago when the Seoul City Girl replaced the empty seat next to him in class, and he volunteered to show her around. He had lost when he accidentally charmed his way into her heart with his heavy Daegu accent that had her giggling, blushing, without even realizing he was being charmed all the same. And he had lost when he opened the door two months ago with no intention to let her apologize or explain, yet also made no move to push her away.
So it was in the little victories he took some twisted form of solace: the annoyance in her voice when she pounded on his door at two in the morning, the bottle of wine half emptied by her and her alone, and the breathless moan slipping from her tongue. Immeasurable victories, but proof that he could still unravel her if he so desired. He craved more, then, needed more, wanted so desperately to rationalize the lack of space between their lives, their rooms, their bodies. And so he spoke rough, unclasped her bra, and found more petty victories in the slight part of lips with no words to follow, the small frown in her eyebrows that proved his words hurtful. It’d been years since he’d seen her so vulnerable, so silent save for the gasp as he placed her back first onto the couch, and once more as their hips collided, and it would’ve been a shame had he let the moment pass quietly.
At least, that’s what he told himself as nails dug into him, pulling him closer still against her as he started to grow hard against his ripped jeans -- he needed a reason to believe this was fine, rational, not the biggest mistake he’d made all year. So he convinced himself that this was much needed release of years of pent up frustration, breathing hard as he pulled his lips from hers, “What, finally have nothing to say?” He slid his arm flat on the couch, body falling closer to hers as he pressed traveling lips against her neck. “I thought you wanted to know,” he whispered, breath hot in her ear, while a hand slid under her tank, gripping onto her side. The thought stayed unfinished in the air, the words ‘how you fucked me up’ stuck in his throat, still too reluctant to admit the effect she had on him. And so he swallowed the words, instead opting to grind himself against her as he caught her lips again, slide his hand up her side to cup her breast, and pull her leg to wrap around him.
