This game is ruining my life in all the right ways

So i spent two weeks of my life obsessing, over analyzing and theorizing every aspect of 999. I was consumed with the desire to know which one of these assholes:

has caused me about 15 hours worth of anxiety and unbelievable stress. I finish the game, find out the truth and man am i feeling good! i managed to play through it like 5 times and i got the true ending. 

but now i find out today that they made a sequel:

and it's largely tied in to the first one. It's no secret that the first game ended on a more than weird note (which i don't mind considering all the other endings involved me being dead) but in no way did i think that there could be any more to reveal from the story, it was over-i lived. The End. But now this new game introduces a (partially) new set of 9 characters and comes with 24 playable endings with a log in of approximately 40+ hours -and only one of them is the true ending! It also goes more in depth on the results of the first game as well as some recurring characters from the past.

I am devastated. There have only been a handful of times in my life when i get 'lock-on' syndrome and everything gets put on the back burner and i feel it coming with this. I am about to spend a stupid amount of time, money and stress on this game.

It will be like eating a deliciously ripe pineapple well beyond the point where your taste buds are bleeding from all the acidic goodness.
