Hinterlands Bedroom - Country Style with 16 Items

I had this idea for a country bedroom which sprung up from a wardrobe I had intended to go with a now scrapped set. With Cottage Living announced, I decided to move it off the back burner and finish it as i felt that it would work great for the pack. With a few additions including some lovely floral bedding, it’s finally ready for me to use in my gameplay save.

Update 2nd October 2021: Fixed issue where normalmap and specular were incorrectly linked resulting in people without Roarsome Kids Bedroom seeing weird shiny patches on single bedding.

Hinterlands Living - Country-Style with 16 Items

This one-off set seems to be turning into a series, and I am not made about it. The style I came up with for Hinterlands Bedroom really speaks to me. It’s classic by not fussy, and really works well in my more traditional homes without looking gaudy and cliche. So of course the design style suited a living room. It all started with the sectional which I promised I would make a patterned one of, and it just called out to be skirted, and just ended up working will with the theme of Hinterlands. So this set was born.

slouch - stuff pack

hello everyone! one thing i always wanted was a very big modular sofa in the game so i decided to give it a try and this is what i came up with. it comes with 5 different pieces in 27 swatches to create various shapes and versions. the footprint of the sofa is a bit smaller than the actual object so it can be easily placed, but this means that sims might walk into the sides of it if there are no other objects near it. in my opinion the woven rug actually looks better sized down once but i kept it the size it is, because i wanted to have an area rug for when you make a very big sofa with this set. it was so much fun to choose patterns for the sofa and i hope you like using the funky swatches, too (especially the cowprint!). here’s a preview of the swatches for the sofa pieces:

miscellanea - stuff pack

hello everyone! for this set i focused more on the details of each item rather than a huge amount. making detailed clutter items actually takes me a longer time to make than bigger furniture that doesn’t require a lot of texture editing. the bookcase of this set was actually suggested by a follower and is inspired by this one here. i was very excited to try to make my take on it and hope you like the outcome. there are a lot of slots added (116 to be exact) so placing clutter on the shelfes is as easy as possible! for the salt lamp i added the option to enable a focused emotional aura. i really hope you like this custom content set and have a lot of fun decorating with it!

the candle.

i always struggle to put my sims in specific moods to accomplish different tasks or goals so i made scented candles that affect your sims mood in 10 different ways. you are able to ‘live drag’ the candle and put it into your sims  inventory so it’s easy to carry with you to a date/an event or a different room - whenever you want your sims to be in a specific mood. the mood changing effect can be turned on or off as well. and for those who just want a new candle in their game, i made a decorative version, too. this one is not draggable and has no specific function besides being a candle. i hope you like it!

adding some more information just in case:

the mood booster version is merged into one package so it does show up as one item in the catalogue, but you can’t switch between swatches once you have placed the candle bc of it’s different components. i guess that’s why we have so many items in the catalogue from the sims that are not merged into one bc people would be confused? i think it’s still better than having 10 items separated in the catalogue. if you know a way to get around it i’d love to hear!

the candles won’t set your house on fire (like the incense does) because they are a normal light/lamp with a mood tuning so they are bgc.

modish - stuff pack

hello everyone! after about 2 month of sharing wip’s about this pack i can finally share it with you. this pack was inspired by mid century interior design but i tried to make it not too retro looking so i think it is in between retro and modern design if that makes sense. i tried to make the objects as versatile as possible by including many swatches. the sofa set for expample comes in 15 different colours each in 3 versions with different wooden leg colours. the bigger wooden objects come in 14 different swatches that are based on EA wood tones. to make the objects functional i made the books and the bookshelf work as actual bookshelfs so you can click on them and let your sims read and the small storage box is functional for storing draggable objects. everything is basegame compatible! if you have any questions or suggestions please let me know. i really hope you like these items and have fun decorating with them!   download here (early access via patreon)

smol - stuff pack

hello everyone! this time i created a kids/nursery room set with 32 new items (28 new objects, 4 new wallpapers). the crib in this set is modular and comes with a frame and a separated bedding that can be slotted into the frame and is compatible with the invisible crib mod. the star, moon and shootingstar lights work like the nightlights in the game and will protect your sim’s kids from the monster under the bed. as an addition to the set there’s also a bassinette override that you can find here! i really hope you like this custom content set and have a lot of fun decorating with it! thank you so much for supporting my creations, it really helps me and means a lot 💛 a huge thanks to @ravasheencc for the bunk bed base!

Sleek Kitchen CC Stuff

Fully Base Game Compatible

Here’s my second modern themed CC Pack (Click here for my first)! This one contains new objects which will be sure to spice up any modern Kitchen! In this pack, you can find a in-built stove, sink, as well as brand new counters, stools, chairs + more!

This contains 20 objects total, 1 is a mesh edit of a base game counter to have no backing board. The overall colour scheme for this pack is greyscale.

To find all items easily in Build/Buy Mode, search for [Sleek Kitchen] with the square brackets, and you’ll see all the CC in one place!

Information About Specific Items

The Built-In Stove is actually two separate objects, the special counter part and stove part. This allows you to pick and chose which counter colour & stove colour you wish to use! (You can place the Stove into the custom counter without cheats)

The Island Counter and Hollow Island Counter objects have both end pieces and the main piece (refer to screenshot) however the corners are unchanged, they will look strange if placed.

The Ceiling Fan, as you would expect, spins!

As always, there may be issues, but I have tested the functionality of all objects and from what I can see, works perfectly. If you run into any issues, let me know!

Very excited to finally release my next Custom Content Stuff Pack, SIMKEA Furnishings! Contains over 45 new objects inspired by IKEA and Minimal Furniture. As per usual, this CC Pack is fully Base Game Compatible! I hope you enjoy! This will probably be my last post of the year on Tumblr so I hope you have a great Christmas (if you celebrate it) and enjoy the last few days of the year!

The Occluder Override is recommended as it prevents weird shadows from appearing on my cabinets when an appliance is placed under them. This occurs as I changed the shading properties of them in order to workaround an issue which affects ALL Cabinets in the game which cause all corner pieces to appear darker than the rest. This fix applies to all Maxis Appliances.

Cabinets in SIMKEA Furnishings can be found in the Surfaces Category under Shelves.
