Mommy and Daddy's first date in Houston. Your father is THE sweetest. He took us out for classic games and music at an actual Arcade, then to dinner and a movie! We ate at Schlotzki's and saw Inside Out in The Woodlands ☺️ I cried. (It was a really good and relevant movie!) 😘

July 23, 2016 Your father took me out for some much needed sun today. It was gorgeous and took us a long time to decide where we wanted to go 😁 but it was so fun none the less! Lake Conroe is where we ended up and ate at Pappa's on the Lake 😇

You are the size of a lime today! 💚 We had 3 enormous tacos at a bar/restaurant called Masone’s with your Lola and FroYo afterwards! A delicious day, hope you liked it as much as I did 😁 it’s nice to be able to keep down food these days. I had a hard time with that at first. Today was a great day.

July 7th, 22:34 Well, today was the day we checked off giving the news to all of our grandparents (your great grandparents)! It also marks the day we bursted it on social media! It's been very pleasant, everyone is supportive and can't wait to meet you ☺️ we are so stoked to get to know you, darling. Apparently, today you are about the size of a lime. You have elbows, knees, a full four chambered heart, a tongue and palette, as well as kidneys that are producing urine already! I don't have a bump quite yet, but soon I'm sure. Not to mention, your father's last day in Dallas at his old warehouse (684) was July 3rd! His first day here at the Woodlands (1189) is the 13th. We are so happy to start our life together as a family. My second appointment to check up on you is July 21st, my parents' anniversary 😁 hopefully I can record your baby, doublefast heartbeat and let them hear it. Can't wait! It's June the 8th, today, and I finally had the privilege of booking your first appointment. It is set for June the 23rd at 13:30, I am so excited. Your father requested off so he could be here for it, and I couldn't be happier. I wonder what our midwife has to tell us about you so far. It's going to be sheer awesomeness ❤️🙌🏼❤️ - Mama

I was just thinking to myself today, at work, and this massive feeling blanketed me for a moment. Butterflies were swarming my stomach! My heart was racing, and I just wanted to cry. It’s almost like I miss you!!! It’s as if I’ve known you for years and years but I’ve never seen your face. As a conclusion, I gathered that I really just can’t wait to meet you, darling. Your beautiful round cheeks, your big eyes, your little tiny baby hands, your chubby little baby feet, I can’t wait to see it all. I can only hope that I keep you healthy enough for your arrival in 9 months. Holding you will be the best moment I could have ever dreamed of.

May 20, 2015 Tonight, we took you to your first concert!!! A favorite of your father and I's, but more importantly... A super-favorite of your Papa's. He loves Rush, and this was their "R40" tour (celebrating 43 years of creating and performing music together). The best part, for me, was watching him jam. He had such a good time, it was an outstanding show! Your Gran'pa Skip and Gran'ma G had a blast alongside us, it was amazing we were all able to sit in the same row. We had floor tickets, maybe 40 or so rows from the front. Geddy Lee, the lead singer, killed it. (Well, as much as he could for a 60 year old man 👌🏼) Neil Peart, as always, absolutely nailed every bit of the show. And Alex was shredding his guitar like it was their first tour ever, but this may very well be their last. The finish up in August of this year, in Los Angeles, CA. I was a little nervous that the booming noise would shake you up in there, seeing as that you're so little. You're about the size of a head on a pin. But, apparently, you're so small and embedded in the lining of my uterus that it would take a bit more to shake you up. That was comforting to read. Anywho, we hope you enjoyed the concert as much as we did ☺️ maybe you'll end up a rocker, like your old folks! We love you, baby! Mom and Dad

After two pregnancy tests and a bit of happy/scared crying, your father and I found out that we were having you today. You’re very small at the moment, just a cute little pile of cells, but you feel as big as the entire known universe.

So far, I’m about 15 days along. We are nervous, but so so excited for you to be here. I saw one done a long time ago, but a couple had made a blog for their baby. They put pictures, selfies, sonograms, test results, and their thoughts on the blog almost every day. Then when their baby was born, they had even more to post on the blog. All of this so you could read it one day, and hopefully find it as fun as we did when we made it for you. So this is all for you, darling! We love you so much already and we haven’t even met you yet.

We hope you enjoy it, we’re truly going to enjoy creating it for you.
