Join us this coming February to bring out their love for the ladies, with whatever you choose: gifs, graphics, fics, drabbles, headcanons, icons, fanmixes, fan art, meta, and whatever else appreciation for these incredible ships for TM FEMSLASH FEBRUARY 2021! Make sure to to put #tmfemslashevents in the first five tags of your post so we can reblog! Also fic writers - head over to our AO3 collection to add your fics!
Each week ofFebruary, we will have several prompts for you to choose from! You can do one, or all! Any amount you want. The event runs Feb 1st to Feb 28th with the following prompts!
WEEK ONE (Mon Feb 1st to Sun Feb 7th)
History/period drama: If we loved you less, we might be able to talk about it more… but you know what WE are! Give us our ladies at their best and worst and in between in a history or period drama au! From the ancients to the Victorian age, Shakespeare to Jane Austen, world wars and rolling heads, you have everything you need to bring our ladies to life in another age and we can’t wait for it!
Dark au: Ever wonder what a character or femslash would be like if they went dark? Bring your ideas to life and show us what you got! Perhaps a shadeless Alice becomes the dark king and must be stopped by high king Margo! Or one of the other main ladies niffened out and must be brought back! Demonstrate how dark you can go.
10 years: It’s 2030, your otp is thriving and your heart is full. But what does that look like? Are they happily married and enjoying domestic bliss or did they just reconnect after so much time apart? This is your chance to rewrite their happily ever after.
WEEK TWO (Mon Feb 8th to Sun Feb 14th)
Mythology/goddesses: Every wondered what it would be like if our ladies were in the real mythology of it all? Greek mythology, Roman mythology, Hindu mythology, Norse mythology, any and all (though please be mindful of cultural appropriation) of it we want to see our ladies in the stories of mythology and in the roles of goddesses! Heck, feel free to choose from mediums like Hercules and Atlantis and Assassin’s Creed! It’s your go!
Quest: Take us on a sapphic quest. It could be a do over of a canon quest but with the ladies this time or a new adventure of your own creation. We want to see fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, miracles, and of course true love.
Pre-Brakebills: It’s a shame that we didn’t get to see much (or any) of our girls before brakebills. Let’s take that opportunity to push the lesbian agenda. What if Margo and Marina met at a wild party in Manhattan or Julia and Alice were sent to the same summer camp? Show us how your otp really met and how they handle meeting again at brakebills.
WEEK THREE (Mon Feb 15th to Sun Feb 21st)
Role reversal/body swap: Imagine! Our ladies switch places in their narrative: perhaps Julia is now a Brakebills student while Alice is the hedge witch, or Kady becomes High Queen while a very determined Margo seeks her place in the world - and in Kady. Anything goes! OR Body swap! Our ladies switching bodies. Maybe Marina casts a spell that ends up with her ruling Fillory as Queen Alice, and Alice suddenly finds she’s Marina, head of the head bitches!
Royalty bitches: They’re the monarchy and they own it. And we want to see them rule. Side by side or at war with each other (enemies to lovers, anyone?) Show us how your otp runs Fillory.
Thruple: The power of three, OT3 that is. We want to see your favorite femslash thruple. Be it true love or something less pure, show us that 3 really is the magic number
WEEK 4 (Mon Feb 22nd to Mon Feb 28th)
Canon do over: We all know that canon isn’t always kind to our ladies. Now is your chance to fix that. Maybe your still salty that Wickoff never happened or that high king Margo should be reigning with a queen at her side. Whatever your fix is, we know it will be better than canon.
Folklore Inspired: Ever wanted second, third or hundredth chances? Well here is YOUR chance to bring our ladies to life with inspiration from Taylor Swift’s new album Folklore! Take our gorgeous pairings to the lakes where they belong and show off those illicit affairs - before you are sent to exile!
Cooperative Magic: who knew it would feel so good? We think our ladies might and if not they are about to find out. Show us the intended or unintended consequences of partnered spellwork. If magic is a drug, then cooperative magic is the ultimate aphrodisiac.
