mwf?
I mentioned a couple in a recently posted ask, but a few other ladies I’d love to see in the group are Danielle Campbell, Kylie Bunbury, Natalia Dyer, Odeya Rush, Saoirse Ronan, Hailee Steinfeld, Kelsey Chow, and Shelley Hennig!
banned fc's?
We don’t have a specific list of banned FCs, but we’d prefer to not use anyone who is underaged, a youtuber/social media influencer, or has mentioned specifically that they wouldn’t like to be used as a FC. Of course, anyone who has proven themselves by word/action to be transphobic, homophobic, racist, misogynistic, etc -- You can go ahead and assume they’re not a welcomed FC. We’ll be double checking on FCs applicants want to use, just to make sure everything’s looking good. If there’s anyone you’re interested in using, but aren’t 100% sure about -- Let us know, and we’ll do a quick check.
Are applications open? If they are what are the most wanted fc's?
Yes they are! And personally, a few FCs I’d love to see are John Boyega, Tyler Posey, Willa Holland, Lana Condor, Tom Holland, and Sophie Turner!
HELLO MY LOVES! It’s late/early af here in CST, but I- your lovely Admin Mouse- work night shift and generally have the sleep schedule of a bat, so you should send me in an app to read! We’re HILLSIDE- a newly established semi-appless college rp with a fun twist, with three admins who have all been in the rpc since the early 2000s. We do have a LIMITED NUMBER OF SLOTS, since we’d like to keep this rp somewhat small, and we’d love to see some of y’alls lovely ocs!
When does this open?
Our opening day is currently TBD, but once a couple of apps come in, we’ll have one figured out quickly so we can get things moving!
HELLO, TAGS! We started posting late last night, so it seems fitting to make introduction now that the sun is up. HILLSIDE is a college rp set in the fictional town of Ashton, Louisiana, in the midst of robberies and break in’s, that are waking up this sleepy town. Curious about the full story? You can read it all here.

– WHERE WE’VE BEEN
Born in New Orleans, Gabe Dawson grew up seeming surrounded by musicians- on the bus, street corners, and local cafes. His love for music led him to pick up the guitar at a young age, and while initially he entertained dreams of pursuing music, it didn’t take long for him to realize that was all they would ever be- dreams. He would always love guitar, but he needed to do something practical with his life, something he could support himself on, and the things all those local musicians he had ever seen had in common? A small pile of crumpled bills in a guitar case. Gabe was tired of scrounging for change.
The last time Gabriel Dawson had seen his mother was when she dropped him off at school and had a brain aneurysm on her way home. The last time he saw his father was less than four months after that, when his father relinquishing to the state his parental rights over both Gabe and his younger sister Grace. It took years for Gabe to recognize this was probably for the best. He had spent the better part of those months trying to make his depressed alcoholic father smile, (when he was around at all) lying to his teachers about their dirty clothes and empty lunch pails, and scavenging for food in their near empty kitchen. Foster care was terrible, but at least he was fed regularly.
Gabe stayed in the system for eight years, in that time staying in over twenty different foster homes, eventually getting separated from his sister after a misunderstanding lead their case worker to believe that they’d do better apart from that point onward. He spent more hours than he could count, scrolling through thousands of Graces, looking for any who could be his sister and dreaming of the day he could afford a private investigator.Â
It was hard, but Gabe rarely had anything but a smile on his face as he continued through high school. It wasn’t that bad things didn’t bother him, just that he would prefer not to dwell on them- there was no use thinking about the past when you couldn’t change it, and it wasn’t as if anyone cared about the traumas of black kid in foster care. Gabe preferred to focus on his future- working and saving money, focusing on his grades, and applying for scholarships until he was finally accepted to Hillside, having been drawn by their engineering department, robotics club, and cheap housing. Things are still hard, but he finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel- two more years and he can finally put his childhood behind him and enjoy his financial stability, and finally find his sister.
In order to keep up with his college expenses and rent over at THE CORRIDOR, Gabe has many SIDE JOBS such as TEACHING GUITAR, REPAIRING COMPUTER AND ELECTRONICS, RUNNING ERRANDS FOR THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED AROUND TOWN, in addition to his main job BAR TENDING at DEVEREAUX’S DIVE. Somehow, despite all that, he makes time for RADIO CLUB, ROBOTICS, TABLETOP GAMES, and to CAPTAIN the QUIDDITCH team

------   The months after the robberies ended created an unsteady peace in Ashton, proving that life still goes on. The robberies & fires turned into stories to tell during sleepovers, something to scare children with. But then again, history has a habit of repeating itself, & Hillside University has become proof of that. Not a week into the new semester, students were woken up to the sound of police sirens heading towards the campus library. The shattered windows and spray painted words on the walls were enough to paint a vivid picture.   ------   W E M I S S E D Y O U , A S H T O N.

— WHERE WE’VE BEEN
Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Maisie Moriarty had the pleasure of being born into a family with a decent amount of wealth. She was raised on nightly dinners created from scratch by the family chef, always able to afford whatever dress she saw, or college she desired to attend. Things were easy for the Moriarty’s -- They lived a picture perfect life, in a picture perfect suburb, with their two picture perfect daughters. Maisie never had a reason to worry, purely because her perspective on life never required it. Her mother’s real estate business was booming, and her father’s career as a plastic surgeon showed no sign of slowing down. Her family remained on the side that gave to charity, rather than the one who received. It’s the only thing she’s ever known. She was never the one to be flashy about her wealth, not with diamonds or fancy cars, but it was always clear that she was going to be set for life, regardless of what she chose to do with hers.
Fate has a way of teaching lessons, and the Moriarty family is no exception to any rule. Her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis popped the bubble Maisie lived in, turning her easy living world upside down. What started as a hopeful journey quickly derailed, ending with her family in pieces and her mother gone. The loss of her mother was devastating enough for a fourteen year old Maisie, but soon enough -- She was finding herself having to take on her mother’s role, with her father’s new found absence. Everyone grieves differently, and her father’s version included more booze and late night shifts than Maisie is willing to admit. Where he pulled back from his family, she ended up stepping up. As far as Maisie is concerned, she practically raised her twelve year old sister from that point on -- And deferred from going to college until she had graduated herself, and enlisted in the Air Force.Â
Once her sister was out of their childhood home and on her own, Maisie spread her wings as well. HU had been her top choice in high school, so when the news broke that she’d be packing her things and heading to Louisiana, it didn’t come as a shock to anyone. Needless to say, she’s hit the ground running -- Getting into the pediatric nursing program at HU, earning her position as president of her sorority, along with whatever charity work she could get involved in. Being in Ashton and at HU helped her thrive, now that she’s taken the first steps for her career. But, even in the time she’s been in school, she finds herself going back into the same routine she had at home -- Taking care of everyone around her, especially the women in her sorority, but disregarding herself without even meaning to. Maisie’s gone so long without worrying about herself, she’s found she’s often missing out on her life happening around her, because she’s too concerned about looking after someone else.Â
Maisie is the PRESIDENT of the DELTA KAPPA PI sorority, and currently lives in the sorority house on GREEK ROW. She is an active volunteer at the HU STUDENT CENTER, as the team lead for the HU DAYCARE. Maisie is currently part of HILLSIDE HELPING HANDS, YOGA CLUB, and FACE.

Was that [ LIAM HEMSWORTH ] I just saw? No, that’s [ JUDE BARNETT ]. – WHERE WE’VE BEEN
Jude Barnett was born to two working class parents in New Orleans, who provided for him but didn’t seem to care what he spent his time doing. He fell into the habit of wandering the city, listening to music and staring at the beautiful old buildings New Orleans boasts, and before long was pointed by a teacher towards art and architecture by a teacher, who had seen his clumsy doodles in the margin of his papers and taken the time to ask him about it. His passion directed, Jude did all he could to achieve his dream with his eyes on a Ph.D from M.I.T, working construction because it helped him learn more about buildings and because they were willing to hire a fifteen year old and pay him under the table, paying tutors with his wages and saving the rest for college, and doing as much charity work possible to line his transcript.Â
It was while he was spending time tutoring middle schoolers that he met Eleanor Dubois, who firmly insisted he call her Elle. They bonded over their shared Beatles names and love for art- though she worked with digital media and paint, while he only really dabbled in photography and sketching- and only really as mediums to convey the buildings he dreamed up. They were dating within a month of meeting, and less than a year later Jude found himself holding a sobbing Elle while he shakily stared at a positive pregnancy test.Â
Ever the pragmatist, Jude didn’t waste too much time before he was making plans- she would go to school, as he had enough construction experience to earn himself a job that would support them both, then she could return the favor. The reality of course, was much less cut and dry than his original plan. They were constantly broke, Elle’s pregnancy was a difficult one, working long hours made Jude exhausted and cranky, and Elle’s graphic design classes began stacking large amounts of debt of her shoulders, so that Jude began to dread that he would never get the chance to pursue his dreams. They grieved the opportunities they’d lost out on, and so they resented each other. By the time their daughter Lucille (Lucy- keeping with the Beatles trend) was born, he couldn’t stand to be around the person he’d once been so in love with, and Elle for her part hung around for barely six months of sleep deprivation and postpartum before Jude came home to find her waiting with a suitcase and an apology.Â
Jude spent the next two years paying off the medical debt he’d accumulated in Lucy’s first year of doctor’s appointments, and the credit card debt he’d gotten just trying to keep them afloat. He let himself think of little except his daughter and keeping the wolves from the door, pouring money into daycare and seeing no end in sight until he was old and gray, until he saw an ad for Hillside, boasting their new child care program. He applied less than a month later, and moved as soon as his lease was up. To Jude, it felt like a second chance, one he wasn’t willing to miss out on, and this time he won’t let himself get distracted.
This determination was only made more urgent to him after he was attacked from behind and left for dead by the Hillside vandals- he was in the hospital for several days after with a severe concussion, several stitches, and a large third degree burn on his back and shoulders that made it hard for him to lift his arms over his head for months after. Luckily his boss Jonathan Dove and his wife felt terrible about his injuries, and agreed to watch Lucy until he was released. While he was never a very social person before, he’s been almost isolated ever since.
Jude lives in THE CORRIDOR, where he got an excellent deal on rent after agreeing to be the landlord’s SUPER, something he finds generally easy work- though he couldn’t say the same for dealing with the- rambunctious residents. He still works at the LITTLE DOVE DINER as a SHORT ORDER COOK, and somehow finds time to attend CARDIO CLUB, PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB, and BOXING, despite normally having to take Lucy along.Â
