Hanna's mother was in a deep depression and attempted to commit suicide and take the whole family with her. Hanna is the soul survivor and is haunted by the spirit of his mother who he feels he abandoned in her moment of need.

Mrs. Hatch is the one who murdered Lee, she also murdered Veser's father and is now searching for him so she may sever all ties she has with humans. Once she has completed her task she plans to return to the sea.

Adelaide being stuck in bat form was a seal to keep Casimiros curse under control, when Hanna freed her he also released the seal. If they do not trap her again soon Casimiro will go completely insane.

Conrad is a closet drunk.

Vampires have an instinctual response to clinch their teeth when they taste blood; Conrad's mugs are riddled with chips from the first few times he tried to drink and wasn't aware of that much. He uses straws now.

Lamont takes comfort in movie musicals and Disney movies, because, during the five years spent with Worth and Hanna, those were the few movies that could always make Hanna smile. Now Lamont watches them when he's had a shitty day, because remembering Hanna's smile can't help but make him happy,

Sorry about the unpopularity of this headcanon, but I gotta say it.

I honestly think that Worth is just Worth.  He's human.  He might have had a sort of weird past, but nothing too odd.  He's just the gross asshole Tessa made him out do be.  He might try to hide his caring for Hanna's well being, but that's about it.  Just a dirty old doctor in a dirty old office.

Worth is a real victim of alien abduction. But he won't admit this to anyone, and struggles with the memories of it every night by drinking and distracting himself as much as possible with taking care of Hanna. But some days are worse than most, and Hanna is the only one who has a good idea about what Worth is hiding.

Worth's sister lost a baby years ago, a still-born. It sent the family into a depression for the longest of time, and Worth took it the hardest after being forced to watch his sister go through that. She always used to talk about what her child would be like. So when Worth met Hanna, the kid reminded him of what could have been... but he will never admit to this.

Taylamont is fucking ridiculous. Yea, sure, it started as a joke, but it's gotten out of proportion. They would not work together, and shipping a real person with a fictional character is creepy and obsessive.

Okay, well, that's your own opinion. People are allowed to ship whoever they want for whatever reasons they want, no need to get so buttmad over it.
