When I was little, my brother once told me if you pinch yourself long enough you'll adopt the pain and your body will just stop feeling it. I used to smile wider , laugh harder and love stronger but people who give you those things always have to leave. They've created an anomaly of tears, bruises and consistent, indescribable hurt. Maybe I've been carrying those pinches with me for so long I've just gone numb or I let go; I can't tell. But I don't feel anything anymore.
Scrollin through old messages sent to me. Found this one. It’s so poetic. Sharing.
