Why do people hate the trainers that defeated Ash at the pokemon league?

rthis is a question that ive maded myself last time since Alola league is on.

It is something that fans hate the trainer that defeated Ash at the league?

lets discover each of them

RITCHIE (Indigo League/Kanto)

Ritchie is a trainer just like Ash, even he is closer same like Red, and just like Ash he has a Pikachu, but that defeat was just because Charizard didnt wanted to obey Ash’s orders.

But Ritchie appeared in future episodes helping Ash.

HARRISON (FORD, NAH) (Johto League)

Harrison came from Hoenn and he beated Ash with his Blaziken, but before the league started he helped Ash when he tried to get Ho-oh’s Sacred Fire, it was protected by a Sneasel, and Harrison catched it, harrison after he defeated Ash, he lost at other trainer, but at the end, he talks with Ash about Hoenn region.

(FUN FACT: With that Sport Clothers, he doesnt seems that he comes from Hoenn, HE COMES FROM (The Future) GALAR!) (MIKE) TYSON (Hoenn)

Yup, PUSS IN BOOTS, his Meowth gain a Rivaliry with Not only Pikachu, also with Team Rocket’s Meowth, Tyson isnt hated, he is just.....Underrated, he is the first of the trainers that defeated Ash and won the league, thats seems....ok because there came the Battle Frontier

TOBIAS (Sinnoh)

Here it comes, The Legendary One!!, He is hated for defeating Ash using legendary pokemon (Darkrai and Latios, and the 4 remaining are Unknown, MISSINGNO?) and being the winner of the league, there is no problem, this is the only one of the AshBusters that i hate, but the real problem with Tobias is “Maded Empty Without Personality, Backstory, and Relevance”, At least the three previous trainers had something in the story, in the show and won not only rivality with Ash, also they became his friends, Tobias No!

CAMERON (Diaz) (Unova)

Admit it, you are like Cameron, in the way of “Not Putting Attention”, actually, the rivals of Ash in unova are....DUMB! (Trip, Bianca And Cameron Too), he just had luck at his fight at Ash (Victini wanted to taste Ash tears), he has a Hydreigon (Hardes one on Evolve) and his Riolu became luckly lucario, but cameron apperared when Ash has the visit of Dawn and sawing Alder, and cameron came late, and cameron tought the league was going to be on Johto, were all like Cameron, sometimes luckly, sometimes dumb.

(Also he agrees that Mayonaise is an instrument) ALAIN (Kalos)

And for the end, we got Alain

People hated him just for “STEALING ASH VICTORY”, who said “The league will be for Ash”?, if you think Alain is like Tobias, youre wrong, Tobias was written empty, while Alain is written “Better”.

If you havent saw the “Mega Evolution Special”, you dont know Alain from the bottom, he had Charizard since he was just a Charmander, he was assistant of Professor Sycamore and he maded friends like Mairin and Steven (People even hate Mairin too, the poor girl had her Chespin in a coma) but Lysandre helped him with mega evolution.

At the difference of all Ash rivals (Gary, Paul and Trip) that only maded fun of him, “ALAIN ADMIRES ASH” (and both had a Charizard), when they fought each other, Alain beated Ash, the fan beated the idol, and the fandom started to cry and even satanizing Alain, but he never did something bad, Team Flare of course “Lysandre used Alain... FOR LAND DEVELOPMENT” and near by the end of XYZ, Alain And Ash (Alongside of Serena and other Trainers) helped them for save Kalos.

Is a shame that fans only wants the main character victory more that the balance and safety of the world.

Apparently, this is a thing :o Just saw it on the Studio MDHR Facebook page.

NATURALLY, the first comment, while the commenter was generally excited about the show, mentioned how these designs are “lazy Calarts” designs and several other comments mentioned how they don’t like the redesigns.

First off, all you’ve seen is one image. Second, these almost look like they’d be in the style of the Mickey shorts and that’d honestly be really cool.

Whatever the case, I’m definitely really curious and excited about this :o

Game Freak says Pokémon Snap 2 would need a “very unique twist”

UK video game news publication Game Central managed to secure a chat with Pokemon producer Junichi Masuda and director Shigeru Ohmori. One of the things which the site asked was whether there’s a possibility we could eventually get a new Pokémon Snap game. With the advent of new technologies such as Nintendo Labo, it could well be the perfect time for the company to try it. However, Mr. Masuda said if they did revisit the series it would need a “very unique twist.”

GC: You had the Wii U GamePad and now you’ve got Nintendo Labo VR, which has an actual physical camera, why is there not a Pokémon Snap 2?! I’ll pre-order it right now if you agree to make it!

Both: [laughs]

JM: [laughs] All I can say is that I don’t think we can just make the same thing again. So we’d have to come up with a very unique twist on this if we do make another one.

03 - Cane Crazy

Writing

“Cane Crazy was one of the first episodes to start expanding the town of Wartwood beyond the Plantars. Leopold Loggle the woodsmith was created to steer Anne to the Doomtree, but we wanted him - and all our side characters - to feel like real people with their own lives, personalities, and quirks. Loggle’s confusing cadence was originally a one-off joke, but Matt liked it as part of his character and gave me permission to go totally wild explaining it - which is how he got his blacksmithing metal-pipe-through-windpipe origin story. You can see Loggle starting to reach his final form in this earlier draft.”

Storyboards

This episode was boarded by Hannah Ayoubi and Derek Kirk Kim (who also directed the episode). Revisions were done by Kim Roberson, Steve Wolfhard, Silver Paul, and Nate Maurer. This was an important episode in terms of finding out how the characters would behave around each other during the status quo. It was also important to track how comfortable Hop Pop and Polly were with Anne up until now. Sprig obviously was won over by her very early on but the other two needed a little bit of convincing. It’s nice to see Polly somewhat enjoying Anne’s companionship by the end, given that she wanted to kill her in just the previous episode.

Here’s a particular highlight, boarded by Hannah Ayoubi, which introduces the character Leopold Loggle. I dig that he’s an axolotl because up until this point we’ve only seen frogs.

There was also a fun bit of action here at the end that was boarded by Derek Kirk Kim and Steve Wolfhard. I remember having everyone listen to “Yakety Sax” while they boarded to help make sure the chase felt fun.

Character & Prop Design

Design highlights in this episode were definitely Loggle and the stickbug. Board artist Steve Wolfhard had this hilarious idea that underneath his tough bark, the stickbug was cute and soft. I also love the click-y pen that Sprig is obsessed with. It’s also worth noting that this is the first episode to feature painted portraits like the one of Hop Pop with his cane. Since photography hasn’t been invented in Amphibia yet, we developed a short hand for the kinds of photorealistic paintings they’d have hanging around. Designs by Brandon Wu and Andy Gonsalves with colors by Daniaelle Simonson and Carol Wyatt.

Background Design

Loggle’s shop was designed by Sun Jae Lee and is full of character. Creepy marionettes and other oddities litter the room. If you look closely at the exterior, you can see that the building is in the shape of Loggle’s own head. Some great work was also done on the Doomtree by painter Elle Michalka to make it feel uncomfortable and dangerous. The yellow coloring almost shouts “yield!”
