GORONS OFTEN FORGET THEIR STRENGTH IN COMRADERY, but Daruk is nonetheless fully aware of why he won’t be joining in the antics of finding ticklish spots on the Princess. Given Gorons weren’t ticklish themselves, he didn’t entirely understand the concept anyhow.

STILL, seeing such carefree shenanigans centering around the PRINCESS was something to easily brighten the Goron’s already positiveMOOD, and he wasn’t willing to sit back without adding a little of his own presence.

“ YOU guys better be careful around the Princess ! Push her buttons - orTICKLE them, in this case - too much, and she might throw you guys in the dungeon, haha ! ”

FALSE DEFENSE meant only to further assure the Princess’ downfall in this tickling disaster. Would she survive the onslaught? He certainly couldn’t say, but it seemed the royally-appointed Goron CHAMPION was off-duty for this one.

ooc;; SO ! As I’m sure you’ve seen, my activity here has been... spotty, to say the least.

ooc;; Let me just put it like this: I love Daruk. I really do. I love the entire Breath of the Wild cast! But... well, I took Daruk more due to lack of representation and a degree of understanding of his character than out of true passion for it. He’s not the character I want to come flocking back to, as much as I love the guy.

Am I ditching this blog ? No. Not yet, at any rate. I do like the idea of coming back here, this muse just... absolutely is not a main.

Let’s see if I do more within the next few days and go from there. Bear with me, guys.

Daruk scratched his head somewhat bashfully as he considered the little he knew of what happened from Link’s words. He wasn’t the best with words, sure - but neither was Link. He could definitely tell his distant “it was fine” answer was hardly the whole, true story.

“ That’s not too surprising - what with how things have been going for her lately - you’ve seen yourself how she’s dealing with this Calamity Ganon business. ”

Truth be told, he couldn’t help but worry about her - the emotional turmoil she’s been going through has been obvious since day one. The one-sided tension between her and Link wasn’t very surprising - especially if Urbosa’s words were anything to go by.

“ Well, just look at it this way, Brother - if she’s mad at you for being around her so much, that means you’re doing a great job at keeping her safe and being her knight! Don’t get discouraged - not that I think you would! ”

Link was a pretty strong guy, after all - still, even a strong guy like Link could probably use a pat on the back at times like these, right?
