This was the scene at Mt Hood Emergency Room this morning, with Leann in the foreground, having electrodes attached to her body. She woke me at 4:45 to say, “I think you should take me to the emergency room!” She was experiencing powerful chest pains accompanied by sweaty and clammy skin. This may be a heart attack, we thought. There were about six people ahead of us in the waiting room but when we said “chest pains” we jumped to the head of the line. EKG’s were taken along with blood draws twice, two hours apart. Praise God all was in good order. So, four hours after arriving, we were in our car, headed home. Thank the Lord for His mercies.
