Hong Kong airport 8/9-Today
Thousands of protestors singing âDo You Hear The People Singâ in a Hong Kong international airport. This is part of a 3-day sit-in and is only one example of the many marches, rallies, and sit-ins that are occurring daily.
The people of Hong Kong are fighting. Please do not let their voices go unheard around the world.

I canât comment or make firm statements on political matters because⌠thatâs not my field. But what I can do is share what I see, what I hear, what I feel. Hong Kongers are emotional during this time and it is as it should be. . Fear. Uncertainty. Inflicted violence. But whatâs the bigger problem here? Is it the police? Carrie Lam? China? Theyâre all just scratching the surface of the deeper underlying issue. . The fear of not being heard, fear of injustice, fear of restriction, fear of rejection. . But how can we work together to get past those fears? Change will not happen if we find no common ground. . Iâm not in Hong Kong at the moment, but itâs still distressing seeing the home I grew up increasing in tension, paranoia and violence. I know the unrest will continue for many years, but there must be reminders that we cannot overcome violence with more violence. We cannot be heard if we do not hear others. . Is it fair? Life isnât fair, so we cannot track down all the wrongs each side has done. How far would you go back to see who started it all first? And what would that matter. That still doesnât change the future. . All we can do is remember what is right and true, stick together in the face of unrest in Hong Kongâs future. I hope to see Hong Kong band together in peace. . #hongkong #noextraditiontochina #prayforhongkong #hongkongprotest #savehongkong #éŚć¸Żĺ 沚 #hongkongairport #freehongkong #advocatepeace #keepthepeace #bringbackjustice #justice https://www.instagram.com/p/B1IaDU6gAvg/?igshid=yhq78dbi8hsn

HONG KONG 2019, SUMMER
There had been a series of demonstrations against the âEXTRADITION BILLâ in Hong Kong since June 2019, because once the bill is passed, it will undoubtedly undermine the integrity of the cityâs legal system and terribly influence âOne country, two systemsâ.
2 months of nonstop protests and the Hong Kong government refuse to respond to the Five demands raised by the citizen.
Instead of communication, the government chose to use excessive violence (police force and gangsters) to scare the protesters off the street, many were injured, a first-aider lost an eye (police headshot her with beanbag bullet), yet the people keep going to demonstrations.
These protests will not end, not until the government fulfill the Five Demand.
The Five Demands are:
1. Withdrawal of Controversial Extradition Bill
2. Renunciation of the characterization of the Jun 12 protests as âriotsâ
3. Unconditional release of the all arrested protestors without the threat of future prosecution
4. Appointment of an independent commission to inquire into the excessive violence used by the police in the protests
5. Universal suffrage to elect a truly democratic government
An eye for an eye
