I am a junior in High School and an aspiring female Director

For one of our final projects, we are asked to send out letters to professionals in our aspiring job market, to shadow them/learn about the business. So far I have sent letters to at least 10 directors (all but one being male). The only response I have gotten so far:

“This profession is for grown ups that can handle the stress of this environment. A little girl on set would cheapen my production.”
