and... just in general? one of the biggest things for me was the realization that there was no set formula to digital art - you don’t have to sketch, then line, then color in flats, then shade on multiply; you can go out of order, you can skip steps - sometimes i literally just start by painting an eye or an ear. and on that same note, if you want to paint, it rly just helped me to kinda... go for it? paint mostly on one layer, don’t undo all your mistakes but instead just keep coloring over them; let them be the foundation for the rest of the piece. IDK THAT MIGHT BE RLY BAD ADVICE DJNVKNDVKD but yeah once i realized i could just have fun with it, and like... Choose Not to Do Lineart, digital art became so much more fun for me, haha!! it’s great that you’re getting into it - stick with it, it’s a fantastic medium!!

It all came crashing down. Edward slowly peered out to look up at the stars. The ones that had only just started to fade to the whims of daylight and the ground might as well have opened up to swallow him.

They were crooked. Edward couldn’t find a single constellation, not a planet or galaxy among the sky. It was all misaligned. Distorted and wrong.

INSTANTLY fell in love with @liathgray‘s new fic capra. instantly. before the first chapter was released i was already in love, then i began redrawing a scene as soon as physically possible and it ended up taking way too long because i have no self-restraint. anyway this is inaccurate in about 500 different ways and i Know this and i’m Sorry, but hopefully i captured the feeling of the scene somewhat because goddamn, that shit hit me like a freight train basically.. guys do urselves a favor and read all cece’s work. you won’t regret it
