idk who needs to hear this but. it's okay if you only ever daydream about stories you want written. it's not a failure of you as a writer or an artist– sometimes you don't have to finish a piece for it to serve it's purpose. or sometimes things don't have to serve a purpose and that's okay too. if you have a great idea and all you do with it is think about it while you wait for a bus sometimes then there is nothing wrong with that.

it's also okay to "write" things that are just for you, little secret stories that're only for your enjoyment. there's nothing bad about indulging in the human need to create without monetizing it/performing it for others.

SO TRUE! too often we are forced to feel that everything can and should be monetized, and it can be detrimental to mental health. art is a thing that humans have always made. it's a human trait, not a tool specifically to make money. so write your indulgent stories! and don't worry about making them perfect!

hi all!! i am back from the dead  I apologise for abandoning this account for so long, i.. honestly forgot it existed in between school and everything. I ended up moving to a different account a while ago, which is on a seperate email. My new account is @cloud-berry. Although i don’t really post much hollow knight anymore since i lost interest. And well, since i remembered this account Existed. I might consider posting here too/switching back? Although it’ll probably be multifandom if i do. I’m not sure what to do yet, though it’s difficult to use this as a side blog since the blogs are on seperate emails.

Greetings! Work is currently cutting my hours pretty severely, so I completely revamped my outdated commission sheet in the hopes that I can compensate by doing some commissions.

Hello! Hello. Hi ho. It’s me again. Back at it with commission stuff.

Something very unfortunate happened. Long story short, because I want to keep it brief: My car won’t go in reverse. So that means I can’t get to work. And if I can’t get to work, I can’t get money. And if I can’t get money, I can’t afford the cost for whatever repairs it might need. I don’t even know if I have enough to afford repairs right now anyway.

I’m currently having it towed tomorrow, and they won’t be able to have any repair people take a look at it until at least Monday. It’s very cold and wet where I am, so the roads are getting icy, and they’re expecting a lot of accident calls. Once again, without my car, I can’t really go to work and make money. Tow cost isn’t that expensive, but if worst comes to worst, I might have to pay upwards of $1800 to have my car fixed up again. And I already can’t afford that potential flat fee, especially on top of bills I’m already paying. So. Yeah.

Extra examples because I do not only draw Hollow Knight. I’m down for a lot more than Hollow Knight. I’m down for humans ‘n stuff, too.

Addendums:

Decided to cancel the tow truck in the hopes that the issue is the transmission fluid instead. I don’t know enough about cars to have known that transmission fluid could have been an option for why the car wasn’t shifting into reverse. (Jan 22, 2022)

Added transmission fluid. The car now reverses, but it won’t drive forward anymore. It does roll forward slowly, but it doesn’t drive, if that makes sense. Apparently the issue is in the transmission, but it isn’t the fluid, which is marvelous. I’m either going to have to fix it if possible or get a whole new car. I’m not even sure if I can sell my car because it’s still in my dad’s name. (Jan 22, 2022)
