"Thems fightin' words, Kennedy." She snorts, and for a moment starts re-tying the wrap on her hand, watching him get up and move toward the dummy. It's a playful sort of jab, filled with a quiet hope that he might forgo the dummy and fight with her instead.
The frustration she had expressed was just that- Frustration and anxiety. She'd been at the DSO for a year now, and they seemed to see fit to send her on small time missions rather then out to whatever Leon was getting shipped out too. Sure, he was supposed to be on vacation and got pulled by the BSAA for this one, but it wasn't the first time.
How's she supposed to be an effective partner for him if they won't let her go with him?
She'd have to talk to John later... Though she doubted he'd care much and tell her to just suck it up.
His comment about the fish had a smirk curling up her features, and then down at the dummy- Almost embarrassed now that he brought it up. "Ah- Yeah, swear they gotta make them sturdier. Ain't the first one I've broken..." She scoffs, humming softly to herself while she closed the gap between them, looking over the mangled piece of cloth. How much did she gotta beg the techs to make training equipment built to withstand BOW's?
"Yeah. Giant-ass fish, took me for a hell of a ride to the bottom of the lake and back, got a nice concussion out of it. I'm just lucky Alyssa was with us- I don't think we'd have survived without her." A shrug, and she finally starts picking up the Dummy, putting it back together as best she could.
This close, it's easy to feel the inhuman levels of heat coming off her, especially after working out as hard as she had been up until this point.
"Weird that getting dragged through the water by a mutant fish has happened to me twice now, though... Wonder if thats just my lot now."
