( student ):
Wow, it’s almost like she’s been completely and utterly read. Protecting everyone, at the cost of herself. Too bad the warning’s far too late to do any good–
“Aha, thanks for the concern, but I’m already dead, so something like that’s not a problem anymore!”
Or, at least, she’s all but. Trapped for eternity guarding humanity’s fate. Septaneus might as well be a dream she’s concocted to keep herself sane.
“Plus, Sir Ghost…” Wait, if she’s all but dead anyway, doesn’t that make them both ghosts? Huh. “It’s not like people missing you is a good thing, anyway. It’s best for them to forget.”
{♠} —; Somewhat surprised (and appalled) by her demeanor, Ouma stared off. His demeanor didn’t change much, but his attitudes would.
{♠} —; “You don’t have a lot of regards for the opinions of others, huh? Wouldn’t those who miss you be sad knowing this? Do you just carelessly throw your loved ones thoughts to the winds, with no second thought on how they would feel about that? You’re cruel. How saddening….”
She’s almost shocked at how fast the boy’s face changes. A few moments ago, he’d been trying to get a reaction from her, but it turns out that she’d gotten one instead without even thinking--
“...Yeah, I guess so.”
Minako answers genuinely, still smiling, though it had morphed into a wry expression. She’d much rather her friends angry at her for thinking that, than her friends be sad missing her. But, in turn, she herself would never wish to forget, so in a way the boy’s absolutely correct.
“Sir Ghost, you’re rather kind, aren’t you...? Even though you said that no one misses you, I’m certain that many people do.”
