Hiii Cloudddd! Gooooood unholy hour of the morning…

If you were a Crayola Crayon, you’d be the (now retired) Teal Blue crayon! Yes, I know this is incredibly random—welcome to an episode of niche art history with Aerith because 2AM is certainly a time!!

The Teal Blue crayon was featured in the 48 and 64-count crayola packs between 1990 and 1997, with it being introduced as a standard color in 1990, replacing Lemon Yellow, uuuunfortunately, Teal Blue was replaced by Robin’s Egg Blue in those very same sets in sometime in 1997. Then, it was later only found in 96-count boxes until it’s legit retirement in 2003! With that said… this is the crayon in question.

The photo doesn’t do it much justice but! I was listening to music and suddenly had the thought and remembered this random knowledge about it (it partly reminded me of the color of your voice)

sometimes i feel that some people who aren't fictionkins don't understand how overwhelming and real my experiences and memories as my kintypes are

they're as real as any of my "actual" memories at times when they're strong, i don't feel like i can explain this to anyone because i think I'll sound crazy

i saw that you’re tolerant of doubles (or so i hope that’s the case O_O) so i’d just like to drop in and say hello since we have the same kintype.. occasionally i do revisit your blog and it feels refreshing almost. it’s rare for me to come across other ff7 fictionkins so i am very grateful for this blog. i don’t know if i’ll ever speak to u again. maybe so, maybe not, but i want to wish u well regardless. it really is rare to see other ff7 kins these days, the lack of sourcemates is killing me, especially missing my friends from my canon...

i'm glad my blog is pleasing to you, if that's the right word -- it makes me feel a little warmer that someone there is reading and understanding the things i write about my experience.

recently my connection to Cloud has grown significantly, and I've been struggling pretty bad because of it. the headaches and painful memories have become increasingly common yet it's things like this that makes it feel...worth it. as weird as that sounds.

so thank you for this :)

had my first proper kin dream and it's a nightmare - happened last night but never posted about it until now

for any other ff7 kins: Nibelheim Incident kinda? tw

i was in Nibelheim. it was burning all around me. Sephiroth was there, just standing, looking at me. my hands were covered - drenched, drowned - in fresh, cascading blood. he seemed like he was offering the Masamune to me but i'm not sure...

i woke up after that.

i know it wasn't real, it's just a hallucination inside a memory but still. that's all. yeah.
