One of my major complaints with overly politically correct writing to the point of being sanitized is teenagers in tv and shit having emotional maturity beyond what most people have let alone teenagers. like it’s awesome that you want to pretend kids in the 90s for some reason had an hr representatives approach to interpersonal relationships however 90% of teenage interaction is just a gigantic saw trap or emotionally a tom and Jerry kind of situation etc.
