The box wasn’t too bad and Sonic didn’t seem to have a hard time carrying the box, rather enjoying talking with his alternate as they walked down the place. He wondered what the place was like, and often took a few looks around his surroundings.
The older alternate was just so grateful for this. It had been hard on him in the past year or so and it was because of these two, and to know that they were out there was… “One of them, is the mother of my son. She… She’s wanted for stealing from other zones. I feel it’s my responsibility to try and get her to turn in.”
*The boxes they both carried where medium and closer to being small the items didn’t weigh much at all since he never owned much to begin with, with the colder seasons starting to come around the corner it was almost time for what he called the seasons of grey. The neighborhood was plain bland the buildings usually being almost bunched and painted dull grey, faded blues, lime greens or white, cream and faded brick brown colors. A rare few had a lone tree in front and even less had a backyard some had wild bushes of large hibiscus flowers or large sunflowers, the apartment that Sonic picked was at the third floor of a dark green house with a small maple tree in front and two small pecan trees in back. Nearly at the place Sonic kept looking toward his alternate more and less on the area ahead since no one seems to be out the thing that caught his attention was the fact one of them had a child with this alternate, he looked a few years older than himself and he was lucky enough to have a chid envy pinched at him but he ignored it and instead felt happy for the other. The news still bothered him though and made him more determined to help his alternate* I’ll do whatever I can to help you in anyway thanks again for helping me with this stuff I hope you catch her and the other one soon
The area seemed very… Cosy? Yeah, cosy. Well, he thought so anyway. He had seen much worse places like with Eggman’s place. Oh Chaos, that was just a terrible place to be in. He figured that while he was here he would take the time to absorb more of the details of the surrounding area, commenting in his mind about how things were looking and how quiet it seemed to be.
He didn’t really mind stopping his mission right now because he wanted to help his alternate out instead! He pushed his needs away for a while and focused on what was happening right now. Typical, because he’d always do this sort of thing; looking out for others before himself and helping out when he could.
"Thanks, I won’t let her ruin any more lives," that was a silent promise that he had made to himself and his son. Luckily she hadn’t targeted their son, but he wasn’t going to let her off the hook so easily. "It’s alright. Not a problem at all. I’m glad that I was there at the right time to help you!" his smile was still warm, lively. Nope, he felt good at the moment.
*Giving nods and quick glances as his alternate spoke he walked onto and up the gravel path of the large green house and opened and held the door open for his alternate, inside was a small hall with two doors and a staircase. Once his alternate was in he began leading the way up the stairs passing by another door he walked up another staircase and at the end of it was a lone door. As he walked toward it he began to balance to box trying to find the key that he had been given, patting his shoulder bag a small earth hedgehog sized yellow fuzzball poked it's head out four small blue eyes stared at the two blue hedgehogs before giving a chirp and holding up the key. Opening the door and walking in showed the pale cream walls of the two bedroom apartment, the place was empty save for two other smallish boxes, a couple of chairs and a small two person couch in the next room, Sonic just placed his down next to the other and turned towards his alternate to take the other* Hey I know I keep saying it but thank you oh and is there anything else I could help you with besides looking for those criminals?
