Last night for the first time in a long time, both our children stayed away with friends. My wife and I had a night to ourselves and whilst Covid stops you doing so much, we ate a lovely dinner, watched a movie abs then went to bed with hardly saying a word or exchanging a glance. For the first time I sat and worried about what our marriage will be like when our kids leave home.... some times that penny when it drops, is bloody loud. Count down is on. Project “save a marriage that isn’t even broken yet” has started.
