My ocs Mari and Sienna!! Mari is a monster (like a cross between a succubus and a mapinguari) and Sienna is a human! Sienna is a new coming model in a primarily monster society, so she’s struggling to fit in. She was hoping to make friends, but Mari, one of the world’s most popular models, seems to have a close eye on her. Or, eyes rather. Even worse still… why does she have to be so hot?!!!

I wanted to practice with some textures, coloring, and rendering, so what is a fun way to practice all of that? Uhmmmm Cardan x Jude of course! I also have been neglecting them and needed to feed the fandom, so here it is! Although this particular dress wouldn’t be Jude’s first choice… they had to be matchers and the reference I used fit the vibe so well 🤷‍♀️

(I will be making more Cruel Prince art I’ve just gotten side tracked with Art Fight and a LOT of DnD stuff! I have some comics in mind to make but I also may just make a cute little thing of Cardan and Jude just for the sake of posting something again ^^)

Here’s a finished comic I was working on of Jude being bestowed Queen of Mirth. These characters are from the novel The Wicked King by Holly Black! It took me a while, but I’m proud of it 😮‍💨

That one scene in the Wicked King where Jude tries to maintain some form of dominance and bodily autonomy by stripping herself before she is made Queen of Mirth…. And Cardan feels some type of way about it 👀

I have more panels in the works and I’m *probably* not going to color it because it’s kind of a lot, but I hope my fellow Jurdan fans like this, because I sure as heck do 😏

I lean toward him, close enough for a kiss. His eyes widen. The look in his face is some commingling of panic and desire. It is a heady feeling, having power over someone. Over 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘯, who I never thought had any feelings at all.

“You really do want me,” I say, close enough to feel the warmth of his breath as it hitches. “And you 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 it.” I change the angle of the knife, turning it so it’s against his neck. He doesn’t look nearly as alarmed by that as I might expect.

Not nearly as alarmed as when I bring my mouth to his.

Cardan half-turns, and I shove him so hard that his back hits one of the trees. His eyes go wide.

“I don’t know what you said to her, but don’t you ever go near my sister again,” I tell him, my hand still on the front of his velvet doublet. “You gave her your word.”

I can feel the eyes of all the other students on me. Everyone’s breath is drawn.

For a moment, Cardan just stares at me with stupid, crow-black eyes. Then one corner of his mouth curls. “Oh,” he says.

“You’re going to regret doing that.”
