The Happy99 worm, also known as Ska or i-Worm, was a worm for Windows, appearing in 1999. The worm would display a gif of exploding fireworks in a window titled “Happy New Year 1999!″. This was the first worm known to spread via e-mail and usenet. Other than attaching itself to the user’s computer, this worm did no damage.

I really believe the narrator is an actual character in Deltarune.

Toby has to know by now the fandom has been hyperanalyzing the narrator situation in Undertale for 7 years, and for most of Chapters 1 and 2, the narrator acted fairly normal…

But even in the beginning of Chapter 2, some things the narrator says are a little…off.

And by the end of Chapter 2, it’s like a mask comes off.

Suddenly the narrator is a force, pushing Kris - and the story - along a certain path.

I think if Toby knows we have a habit of analyzing the narrator, then these lines could have been meant as a reveal of sorts.

The narrator - and, in the greater theme of things, the very narrative of the story itself - has a drive of their own, and we should be keeping an eye on them starting now.
