currently grey space and clay like ground- I like carving it so there’s hard to see shadows and dents to enjoy

I get the feeling that you don’t usually ‘scoop’ carve your bones

ah- that’s because the head is different, it’s easier to explain as scraffito though, having to carve the clay differently to get different texture results removing glazed clay to also allow for a different result in those areas, I enjoy doing this in our bland environment to “spice it up” shall we say.

B DID ask, but I did some really quick guesstimating work based on the image with it next to Honeysuckle, Honeysuckle is shorter than you, right? The shovel looks to be approximately almost three feet shorter than Honeysuckle, but not quite *deep breath* sorry that was a lot of explaining

blasted woman that one is- good guesswork my angel. handles and heads *do* however change some, I have my favorite combo being more for sharper “scoop” carving and a lovely brown though.

Shovel looks 5ft approximately.

... are you thinking the head and handle separately or our entire shovel knife?

Fireworks are things that explode in the sky, and they’re pretty. I was hoping it would help sate the more destructive side of your nature?
