Also this isn’t an art request just a silly hc to share with you but I think Hong Lu kisses the bug arm. He loves it just like he loves Gregor and sees it as a part of him to give affection. It doesn’t how many times Gregor tells him to stop because he’s afraid to hurt him, it doesn’t matter if Gregor does accidentally hurt him with the bug arm, he’s still gonna kiss it no matter what

Yes!! I think so too! Even though Gregor might flinch away and scold him the first few times, he slowly warms up to the idea of having his arm touched at all. Maybe it starts with Hong Lu gently brushing his fingers over the shell just to tease him, but eventually he finds ways to full on hold it in his hands and finally kiss it

#Though I don't think the scolding ever stops bc Gregor is shy about it lol it just grows less insistent with time.#He definitely finds it weird that HL would kiss that of all things and willingly put himself in danger to do so #But he also can't help but enjoy being treated with such gentleness and affection.
