Hello! Welcome to the Honkai: Star Rail Character Sorter that has been active since the game's launch and is updated with the latest content! Works and looks best on Desktop, but it can be used on iOS and Android devices as well!

Both inboxes are checked every weekend, and I'll respond to anything that isn't rude or overly personal. Feedback is always welcomed!! Please note that all messages will be answered publicly. Please keep character hate and fandom/ship discourse outside of my inbox. I want no part in that and I will ignore it.

I do not add leaked content to the sorter, as I personally avoid leaks and it would just unnecessarily complicate things. However, there may be spoiler-related characters in certain categories (Notable NPCs, mainly) so do tread with caution if you care about that.

Hi! I wanted to let you know that the HSR sorter seems to be displaying without its normal layout for me. Making it unusable. I did a bit of troubleshooting and it looks like one of the external files the page depends on isn't loading.

After checking DevTools, it looks like the stylesheet at: https:// 33550336.neocities.org/hsrsorter/css/main.css is failing to load with ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED, if you understand what that means. Thought you'd want to know in case the external CSS host has gone down or the URL needs updating. Just thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware! Sorry if this is a known issue :D

The problem seems to have fixed itself despite me not doing anything since I can't seem to recreate the problem anywhere. I have put a fix in place however (though I'm unsure if it actually fixes anything). I'm assuming the issue happened because of the amount of traffic the site got.

Would like to note that the sorter uses JavaScript to... be a sorter (lol). The CSS file at main.css (now moved to inline within the page) is what gives the design, without that it would just look like this;

Not pleasant to look at, so that not working is still bad. But the sorter itself would still work because the sorter is within the JavaScript.

So, if the sorter doesn't work (like for example, the categories not showing up) it's because the JavaScript isn't working properly.

Character Alts

Not an update, I just should probably mention this somewhere and I have no idea where I want to put it lol.

Evernight, Sparxie, The Herta, Herta (4*, the puppet) are not listed under Character Alts, this is on purpose. You can get them in your results by selecting Playable or their factions (ie: Amphoreus for Evernight (...Though you will get Dan Heng PT in your results as well), Planarcadia for Sparxie, etc.) without having to click Character Alts. Regarding Herta, ignore the answer to that ask I previously got, I changed my mind.

These are the only characters in Character Alts (this is by order of release, not admin's faves).

Also, Collaboration Characters are not under Playable and never have been. They are only under [Collaboration] and their respective Rarity, Element, and Path. Please select Collaboration to get them in your results if you want to include them.

The sorter has been updated for Planacardia, today! The update is live right now!!

No, I never thought about it until reading this ask. For Ica, Ica is already in the sorter! They've been in the sorter ever since I added Hyacine to the sorter, they're just under NPCs. I'll add the others when I update the sorter next, but they'll probably also be under NPCs rather than a new category.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to reject the idea though. I don't really see how it would help your friend if all the images were uniformed to one source.

If there's a specific character (or group of characters) who's image you have an issue with and you want me to change it to their Light Cone, I can do that. Depends on the character though.

Happy (late) Third Anniversary!

I can't believe I'm late again with the anniversary post, I'm sorry!

First off, for everyone asking "when is Admin is going to update the sorter to add Planarcadia", the answer is now!! The update is live now!!! All of Planarcadia is there along with the upcoming Himeko!!!!

There's some other changes as well like how I made the sorter more uniformed and less ugly on mobile (while breaking stuff in the process hence why this took forever to release), or you can now view the changelog and ask questions from the sorter page itself, among other things. changelog lists everything I changed as usual so look at that pspspsp

Regarding the HSR sorter itself, I am looking into adding some QoL features, but besides that no future plans besides what I've been doing (keeping up with character releases). This project isn't abandoned!! This update just took a little longer because the first half of the year has been a little chaotic for me. I'm a busy person </3
