Have you ever felt like this?⠀ Where you wanted to reach a certain milestone - weight/aesthetic/social status/high-rank in your career before you allowed yourself to believe you were finally successful enough to live your life confidently and freely? ⠀ I totally did! How often do you look back at photos of memories passed and find yourself with the cheesiest grin plastered over your face, reliving magical moments from long ago? filled with memories of lake-swims 🌊, hearty-feeds 🍉 and belly-aching laughs 😂⠀ For me, looking at old photos is my go-to remedy on any given bad day... it pulls me back into the present and it’s like “gaddam how did I get so lucky to get to create memories with these people” ⠀ (especially this little weirdo in the black tank - you’re my weirdo. Currently desiring: Meditating with Rafiki on a mountain in the middle of nowhere 🙏🏽✨🐒. •••••• We get so swept up in the act of reacting to things outside of ourselves. I’ve found it so necessary to make time for yourself each day, to bring yourself back to your centre and re-focus on what’s really important in life. When you shift your perspective, you find yourself stepping into life and enjoying it on a monumentally different level 😳 Where’s your ideal place to meditate and gain perspective on life? 😍🌅🌄🌌.
