“Hello! I'm Bonnie Kegamori! it's nice to meet you! I'm the ultimate hitwoman, or at least... one of em” She looks to the side laughing nervously before taking a deep breath in “But- that's neither here nor there!” She holds her hand out, swinging on her heals.

Instead of shaking her hand, Essie swung to give Bonnie a sideways high five, brought her hand back to slap the back of her hand against hers and 'softly' bumped her fist against her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Bonnie! Very cute name, by the way. I'm Essie Kawano and I'm legally supposed to tell you that I'm the Former Ultimate Majorette."

Essie tried her hardest to put the thought aside. She shook her head and glanced off in whichever way, hopeful that anything in their surroundings would occupy her head better than the vulgar thoughts she had moments ago. 

“So uh.. Keiko?”

“We’re here!” Etsuko’s eyes darted forward and were met with what looked like an outdoor outlet mall. It.. Looked a lot nicer than she had imagined. It was unnaturally clean, with food small food stands anchored at every corner. It was bustling with beauticians, probably 

“Do personal beauticians come here too? Like for celebrities,” she gasped, her attention directed towards a raven-haired woman that was mindlessly staring at her phone. Essie wouldn’t dare approach her, yet, but the majorette could have sworn she’s seen her before. 

“Sometimes. But that’s only if they’re in town.” It was nice seeing Essie getting so worked up over the place. To Keiko is was just a simple mall to grab her supplies from. She frequented it just about every week, so, overtime, its shock value just wore off on her. At least that was she thought. Keiko hooked an arm around her friend’s, leading her into the mall.

“We can talk to Miss Kei later. Let’s go..!”

“SO THAT IS HER?!”

A small, eerie laugh could be heard on the other side of the blank screen. It sounded more like clicking than an actual laugh, but it was still eerie with the other's voice. The gentle sound of fixing the camera could be heard until eventually it flickered to life, revealing the owner of the creepy laugh.

"Ah. I was not expecting the camera to turn on so suddenly; Apologies." He said with a small bow of his head. "I suppose you would be wondering who I am. Let me enlighten you. I am Korekiyo Shinguji, ultimate anthropologist."

He pressed a hand to his cheek, his eyes squinting indicating that he was smiling under his unusual mask. "If you happen to not know what that means, it means I study humanity and it's customs." He explained with a small chuckle. "If you do not mind, would you kindly provide a promotion? I merely wish to observe those who choose to indulge themselves on this website."

It anxiously trembled as she was tied between pulling it back from seeing the bandages on his own hands and just the sheer excitement from meeting someone, of her age, close to her own field. She's worked with a few anthropologists before, but they were well into their 20s, 30s and higher.

"I'm Michiko, Michiko Fujioka. And I used to be the Ultimate Archaeologists."

Korekiyo noticed the tremble, but decided it would be most polite to not say anything about it and instead shaking her hand. Their grip was firm, but nothing uncomfortably tight. it was almost a reassurance that he posed no threat. "The pleasure is mine, Michiko. If it does not trouble you, may I ask why you're a former ultimate? If you don't want to answer, however, I do not mind."

"Oh- um.. Yeah.." Korekiyo's grip pulled her from her excited buzz. There was no need to get all frazzled or anything, Michiko, settle down..! She'd make a fool of herself at that rate. She uttered an apology when she pulled her hand away.

"I don't mind.." Michiko wiped the building sweat from her palms against her jeans. "But I guess the easiest way to put it that I had a change in interest. And I can't exactly be an Ultimate in something I don't do anymore."

"Ah I completely understand. Being an ultimate in something you're not interested in anymore can be something tedious instead of enjoyable like it's supposed to be." They explained. "It would be more soul sucking than entertaining to be expected to do something you don't like, but are good at instead of the things you actually enjoy. However in my case I'm very happy with what I do, so I can't see myself stepping down anytime. I'm glad that you're pursuing what makes you happy even if that means no longer being an ultimate."

"Exactly.. And while I'm sure Hope's Peak could have a type of program for students who want to find a new area of expertise, I personally think it's better if I do that on my own. Find something that I like with my own resources." She grinned. "So thanks for understanding. Yeah... But it's nice to know that you enjoy what you do. Anthropology is one of the most interesting fields I know. I can't exactly imagine someone growing tired of it."

"Of course. I've meet many who have the same wishes as you. Finding what you want on your own feels much more rewarding when you eventually find what you enjoy." They said, pressing their hands to their chest. "And of course, I love what I do. I hope you can find something you enjoy as much as I enjoy anthropology."

"I hope so too. I've tried a few things on my own: biology, scientology, psychology, astronomy and astrology," she listed, holding up a finger for each of the studies she's dabbled in. "They all had their merits but they just weren't for me.. I'm not in a rush to find a new ultimate so I can take however much time I need I suppose."

Walking on a nice warm day is always worth it!

Not for thirty minutes.. And it's far from warm!

It was nearing 60° F (or 15° C) degree mark, meaning that anyone who dared to stay outside for more than ten minutes should wear warm. Etsuko even rocked an "uber cute" track suit that was far warmer than anyone would expect. It was expensive, very expensive, but a worthy sacrifice for the world's best majorette. Yet, beyond her fashionable measures, beyond the undershirt she wore under and the extra pair of socks in her shoes, the damned wind still managed to pierce through, sending shivers up her spine.

"The outlet is indoors. So hopefully they have the heater on."

Oh thank GOODNESS, she might've had to stab Keiko for keeping her out in like this. Among other reasons but you get the picture.

Essie raised an eyebrow to the beautician's outfit. The top she wore wasn't anything she expected her to wear willingly; the collar, if she could even call it that, had drooped far past her shoulders and just barely covered her cleavage, the only thing that kept it from sliding off her completely being the two ribbon-like shoulder straps. It looked like a dress on her, completely swallowing up the short shorts she wore. Hell, if she wasn't tugging them down every so often, you wouldn't even know she was wearing anything underneath.

"Oh Essie.. These aren't mine! They're for a friend of my dad's," Keiko waved off the comment with a forced smile. The clothing stuck to her like a fly in glue. Every time she tried to move or tug on them" to show less skin, she just felt more exposed, disgusted, trapped. So she was just as uncomfortable with the arrangement as Essie was confused about it. "It's laundry day today, and this was all that I could wear in the house."

"You seriously don't have any kind of clean clothes? Like? No kind if like emergency bag or some shit?"

"All of my clothes are in the wash, mhm! And the shop is about another ten minutes away, okay? We're almost there!" She changed the subject, hoping that the time would elicit some sort of complaining from her friend. And it did, Essie rolled her eyes with a groan.

"But haven't we been walking for twenty? What the hell you said it was close!"

"It is close! I don't at all mind walking there. I get to enjoy the day on the way there after all!" Those tinted-lens must have been industrial-strength, because she knew no one that would rather walk thirty minutes when they could probably find an uber or a train ride there that would take them at the ABSOLUTE MOST 10 minutes. But she guessed Keiko was different, in a bad way of course.

SachiMachi, the world's top streamer with a viewer and subscriber record that triples the runner up. A girl her age trying to live her best life while making others lives brighter along the way. The variety streamer never fails to get at least 8 million viewers per stream and she treats every last one of them like a personal friend of hers.
