"Miyamura!" Â she gasped, surprised to see her friend so suddenly. Â "There you are! Â I haven't seen you in awhile." Hori frowned at him. Â

ooc; Â Uh, hi! Â Hori-mun here! Â I've been inactive and that's been for a pretty good reason. Â I've been busy with school that it isn't even funny. Â Not only that, my muse for Hori is slipping. Â It's there, but with the manga chapters being slow, I don't have much to add to Hori's character as of now. Â So maybe when we're into mid-summer and the manga gets roaring back up again, I'll be back. Â
I also have a new muse that has replaced Hori and that is Nanami Haruka from UtaPri! Â So yeah, I'll be creating her and roleplaying on her now instead, along with the other accounts I have active muses for.
I will be back. Â Just taking a break, okay~?
Threads on hold now but will be gotten to when I get back:

A new student? ; [AU]
He offered a small, almost apologetic smile out towards the younger schoolgirl as he stumbled upon her name; after all, nobody liked it when someone so personal as their own name got bodged up by a rinky-dinky foreigner. To be honest, Guy wasnât all too sure why his own father would have placed him in such a public setting. Did he really have to make an impression on his colleagues that he could brag how his son was so âwell-roundedâ that he could delve right into the native system without any troubles?
âSorry,â he said curtly, mustering a small tilt of his head as recompense. âI actually just started taking Japanese classes three months ago. IâŠkinda got the message that I was moving to Japan on such a short notice. Please feel free to correct me, if Iâm wrong.â But little did he know that the underclassman-upperclassman hierarchy in this country remained rigid.
When Hori had mentioned that there was a kendo club, Guyâs eyes immediately widened. âY-You do!?â He had always been an avid fan of samurai and the stereotypical figures that came out of Japanese action films. And as corny (or historically incorrect) they may have been, the blond had always been interesting in taking up the sparring sport. He was well-versed in fencing â since he had practically devoted himself to the sport back at home; hence, to get a chance at another type of swords-style was like a whole other dream. âAnd theyâre training now!? Really!? Can we go there rightââ
ââAh, I mean, uhâŠitâsâŠgreat that this school has aâŠkendo clubâŠhehâŠâ He cupped his mouth then, realizing how excited he must have been. âIf you could take me there, that would be great. Iâd love to sit and watch them practice and see what the sports really about. Yâsee, I only really ever watched that sort of stuff in the movies, hehâŠâ
"Huh?  It's fine.  Your pronunciation is just a little off.  Nothing constant communication can't handle!" she awkwardly chuckled, trying to wave off  his sudden apology.  She was amazed however, he had seemed to catch onto her catching onto his mistake quickly.  The guy was prepared for any foreigner mishaps, she noted.
W-Whoah! Â He's overly eager about this... Â If this were a manga, Hori could've been sweatdropping as she was shocked by Cecil's sudden outburst. Â He seemed excited about the sport, albeit a bit too much...though she couldn't blame him, kendo must've not been taught nor popular in his country. Â Holding up her hands in surrender, she waited patiently for him to calm down.
"I-It's fine, Cecil-san!" she laughed and lowered her hands, finding his sudden transition from super excited to serious highly amusing. Â Cecil, Miyamura, and Ishikawa would get along quite well if they ever met in the halls...they did share some common mannerisms. Â Ishikawa's quick transitions from one attitude to another, Miyamura's fumbling apologies and spiels...yep, they'd get along just fine.
"Oh, I see. Â It wasn't available in your country? Â This way." she inquired, beginning to walk again, to the building exit. Â "It's quite understandable that you're interested in kendo." Â After letting him through and closing the door, she stepped into the courtyard that would lead them to the kendo building. Â "If you do decide to join the club, your gym period will be instead replaced by a practice period for kendo. Â In addition to that, you'll also have practice after school. Â The school provides practice equipment, though I am not sure if you need to buy any..." she starts walking again, talking with each step.Â

Headcanon: Hori's Music
Because she has no time for the current pop culture, Hori does not really listen to the popular music that is going around. Â Her music tastes comes from either Souta, Miyamura, or some random days of browsing through Nico Nico Douga. Â She particularly likes songs that she can relate to or tell stories, which may be the reason why she has grown attached to Vocaloid songs from NND.
The music shelf has grown accordingly with Miyamura, now containing many anime CDs (courtesy of Souta and Miyamura both) and popular CDs (courtesy of Miyamura). Â There are some CDs Hori bought herself, but they are obscure or from the internet singers she finds (Yanagi Nagi, supercell, Choucho, Hanatan, Pokota, DANCEROID, DECO*27, sasakure.UK, Nano, etc.).
Admittedly, Hori also has some music from famous boy bands and idols, however they are few in number and more or less come from dramas/anime that are airing - again courtesy of Miyamura.
Hori's favorite artist happens to be the indie band Ikimonogakari.
After reading chapter 20, I suddenly have the urge to do a small character analysis of Hori...=w=

A new student? ; [AU]
fontechie:
Being cast away and shipped off to an entirely new country hadnât exactly been in the blondâs game plan; but seeing as how his father had just been appointed the new Ambassador of his country for Japan, he and his parents had been more or less forced into moving. To be able to attend a local high school, however, had clearly not been in the young manâs interest. His father had put extra pressure on his son to learn the countryâs native language â probably so that he could boast about how his son was such a diplomat, just like him. Guy felt like rolling his eyes at the idea.
Nevertheless, he kept his cool while the Student Council President presented his tour guide, who must have been at least a few years younger than him. She seemed nervous, and â when she had advanced closer to him â he, too, could feel himself tighten up as well. Though when he realized she had just moved to stand across from him and bow (that was a custom in this country, wasnât it?) he felt his shoulders loosen. She wasnât going to ask for a shake of his hand or anything; what a relief! He quickly reciprocated the favor with his own curt bow and bob of his blond hair.
âNice to meet you too, Hori-san,â he said, slightly fumbling over her name. âI thank you for taking the time out of your day to show me around â sâreal nice of you.â And as the two walked down the empty hallways of the school, his head could only wander off and find it fascinating how everything here was soâŠsmall! The lockers, the windows, the screen doors⊠Suddenly, he was snapped out of his thoughts when the girl had asked if he had any questions. A thought came to his mind then, and he quickly turned to look down at her.
âAh, actually yeah, I do. Does your school have aâŠuh, how do you say itâŠâkendoâ clubâŠ?â
"It's no problem at all, really." she gave a small smile at him, noticing his slight mishap over her name. Â Guess he was still trying to get accustomed to the Japanese language...
To be honest, Hori shouldn't have been at school right now. Â She was supposed to be at home, taking care of the house and Souta. Â However, she couldn't say no to Sengoku - after all, it was the least she could do after all she did to him - and as always, Miyamura took her place at home. Â She couldn't be more grateful to the raven-haired boy. Â
Kendo club...? Â This guy's interested in kendo, huh... Hori thought. Â She paused and then slowly nodded. Â Since she couldn't join after-school functions she barely knew much about them, much less if certain clubs existed or what went on during their activities. Â Luckily, thanks to a certain gym period, she had managed to remember the kendo club quite vividly. Â They had practice during her period and so the girls would go to watch them sometimes.
"Yeah, we have a kendo club. Â In fact, they should be having some practice right now. Â Do you want to head down there to check them out...?" she asked him. Â If he said yes, she wouldn't mind taking him down there.
