What is Minecraft: Host-Apo?

Minecraft: Hostian Apocalypse (shortly Host-Apo) is a Minecraft AU set in a post-apocalypse scenario, where Hosts have played a huge role in the realms of Minecraft becoming as hostile and broken as they are - hence the name. Eventually, they got "cured", but are still half-corrupted, with things that were once as easy as a finger snap now draining a lot of energy. A large part of them is still in The Four Horrors - wretched abominations

How accurate to the canon is this AU?

It is hard to tell - many things are taken from the canon, and many are completely new things created on the base of canon. This is an alternate universe after all - it doesn't have to be incredibly accurate, but it keeps many aspects the way they are. Some elements here are meant to reference old Minecraft, which is a bit different than the modern iteration of the game.

Finally doing something with this blog after like half a year

It's getting a re-write, with currently no set story, but that could change in the future.

Protagonists also changed - from Steve and that little Mojangles guy (I think his name was Jave) to Hosts themselves.

I'm finally contributing something to this blog since I don't feel that well mentally recently and I hope drawing will crank up the mood both mine and yours (the viewer/reader)

I will try to not burn the kitchen, though it'll still be a lil overbaked 😅

If you stayed for these 6 months of inactivity, I'm more than happy that you stayed.

Host-Apo - Teaser

In the dawn of time, four caretakers of the Minecraft universe existed, spreading together the act of Creation.

They kept the balance between the realms and the void between them. They created life and allowed it to thrive. All seemed well, until a forgotten being came back...

The Wyvern of Creation. Well, it's actually an amphiptere, but nobody cares when it appears out of the blue. It already had an otherworldly origin, but this time, it came with a colorful artifact that never had any connection to this place in the first place. The Wyvern silently promised that the artifact won't affect the creative process of Minecraft's existence. And, in most cases, it didn't. But here, something went wrong. Very, very wrong.

It is unclear if this was intended by the Wyvern and/or the artifact, but all went worse after the artifact's activation. The return of one who created the Hosts also began their downfall to madness, one by one, across many eons. Skies turned red, life that moves hid away almost entirely, and the life that stays... Well, stayed. Some were lucky to survive, some were not. The Overworld became barren without becoming barren, and the rest of dimensions became much emptier too.

I do not know who I used to be. I do not know how did I get here. All I know is that I am Steve.
