A pleasantly surprising gift @tyree403 got commissioned for me of Kazue in a more casual setting of just having a few drinks at the bar.
I love the detail put into the piece! from the individual lines for the hair locks, to the bends and wrappings of the bandages/hand wraps and the seams in the jeans along with the fabric curves and bend of the shirt and jacket.
Tyree accepts Kazue's advice as validation to use merciless brutality. "Thank you very much. That's all I need to know. I had to train non-stop. It's exhausting, but my life depends on impressing them. Oh, yeah. I've made you lunch. Care for some fried fish with cheesy stuffed waterfall mushrooms before I leave you to your duties?"
Kazue simply shrugs, other than the couple times she’s seen Tyree she’s never really spoken to him so she’s oblivious towards most of his life.
Now the food on the otherhand...
“Sure.” she’s blunt about it. “Haven’t had anything at all today so I’m glad you’re offering some food.”

Uhm hello, did you lose something? Maybe I be of some assistance in searching for whatever you’re looking for?
“Huh?!” she’d lift up a couple pieces of paperwork before spotting SK, damn. He just loves to pop up out of nowhere no matter what huh? well he is offering her help so she shouldn’t really turn it down.
“Yeah, could you uh...” she looks about for another second, seeing if she can’t spot what she’s looking for. “Could you help me find my glasses?”
“Where the hell did I put those damn things.” The Oni’s going to complain as she searches her office desk for something frantically.

“Not much other than its a good pasta time from what I’ve heard.” D-did she just? oh yeah she did just do that didn’t she?
"Let's just say... I'll be fighting against the nicest villain soon, who wanna see a human's fighting spirit in action, and winning is impossible. You can't hit a ghost, so you don't have anything to worry about."
“.........Right, well I’ve given you my two-cents on it so, good luck with that.”
"What should a person do when someone bigger, and stronger is bullying them, but have no way to get help. A matter of fact it is impossible and you have no fighting experience."
“Well that is a tough situation.” she’d ponder for a moment. “Well one you could try to avoid the bully at all costs....on the other hand with lack of fighting experience one could either train to get better at fighting or use underhand tactics if push comes to shove, or carry a weapon.”
“Though since I’ve told you this I do need to know the gist of why you asked, since I still gotta do my job to an extent to protect people down here.”
"If it's not too much trouble, I seek your advice on a particular scenario."
“I mean.” she scratches the side of her head for a quick second. “Depending on what it is, I’ll do my best?”
What's been causing your lack of sleep? Anything a piping hot meal can fix? (SKB would pull out a tray with a large Steak, steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. )
“Usually just late nights with work. Tend to not finish up certain guard reports till late at night so I end up not sleeping, recently however well...you seen how this place is?”
Its at this point she’d notice SK just pulled a whole meal on a tray out of nowhere.
“....I’m not even gonna ask where you’ve been hiding that.”
How often have you fallen asleep on the job? Is it mainly due to boredom?
“Many times, mainly because nothings happening or lack of sleep from a previous day...though can’t say nothings happening right now its just more...lack of sleep.”
“Damn...must’ve fallen asleep on the job...again.”
“I’m gonna need some major downing of booze later to get over this shit.”
“Y’know something, you’d think with the first lieutenant gone you’d have the second lieutenant taking the reigns but no. It comes down to the second sergeant to do what needs to be done for the safety of the people. Talk about useless higher ups.”

Kazue could tell from the expressions of Sela’s body and her breath that she had been in trouble with something, probably one of the beasts that had surged recently, not like what the Oni had fought recently.
Though she did just get asked if she was with the guard.
“Yes I am apart of the guard, Second Sergeant Kazue Kval. And you?” She’d ask before taking a scan of the location and the damage done to it. The other demoness must be feeling a tad small compared to the 8′2 giant standing before her.
“We should probably get you up to New Home, its much safer there than it is standing around here, sides you don’t know when one of those things will just pop up out of nowhere.” Her grip tightened around her Kanabo, she would be prepared for anything, especially a surprise attack from one of those....things!
The Oni was alert, there had been a defensive barricade set up between anyone getting in and out of waterfall towards new home and only monsters they knew where allowed. Not these....savages, that said a few of the unknown beast seemed to be heading this way.
“Here they come men, remember if we fall here, the entire kingdom is doomed. Now, archers! fire from long ranged. Anyone ballsy enough to tackle the quadrupedal ones with me.” With that said Kazue and a few other guardsman would charge into the heat of battle.
You wanna mess with the best? You better bring a lot to take down this Second Sergeant!
The Royal Guard has issued a state of emergency. Unknown dark beasts have over run the underground. It seem these beasts collecting souls, monsters and humans alike. Although the knights are doing everything in their power to keep the citizens of the underground safe, its advised that everyone remains indoors and armed. These beast have a nasty habit crawling out in unexpected places. ______________________________________________________________

The second sergeant would let out a sigh; people had to keep asking questions but this one could be justified with some information that hadn’t been classified by the guard...or the higher ups for that matter.
“The disappearance of the first lieutenant is known amongst almost all the guard. It’d be as if Undyne herself just up and vanished, it can’t just be tucked away in a file and forgotten about.” She paused, the red oni finding it hard to control herself due to the fact this investigation was going nowhere.
“As for the tampered files, I have not looked myself, but from what I know the person who tampered with said files will see justice done. But I need to return to patrolling waterfall right now, I already told HQ I’d double my patrol efforts and I ain’t gonna slack off when innocent lives are at stake.”
