a part of body positivity I think gets ignored a lot is women trashing other women…. specifically for their makeup. I see a lot of girls dragging other girls for their eyebrows, their contour, not blending, etc. etc. and I think we all need to take a step back and remember two things:

1) everybody starts somewhere with makeup like any other art form

2) not everybody has the resources to access makeup- whether it’s money or time. It takes both things to get the ‘perfect look’ I see on instagram over and over (perfectly highlighted and shaded, smokey eyes, winged eyeliner, colorful lips, full lashes). And I’m not saying those girls should stop- but I’m saying we should stop putting down other girls who don’t have the skill, money, or time to look like that. 

This is coming from the bottom of my makeup-loving heart- girls gotta look out for girls
