âOf course. Both of you will follow us.â The oods turn to lead the two of them passed the mountains towards the cave where the other oods were sitting around in the circle waiting for them. With the head of the Oods sitting with them.
Aurora had an awful feeling about this, but she stayed close with the Doctor.
The Doctor bit his lip, holding her close. âItâll be alright,â he said softly, before sitting down in the circle.

The Master was looking at him and he shook his head. âNo I donât.â The time lord said. He was sighing as he looked at the ground. He was unable to tell the Doctor anyway.
That look, that headshake, that sigh. With how close he was he could even smell him. And...it couldnât be. No. It couldnât. âCome on, then,â he said with a little smirk, goading, trying to get him to prove or disprove at this point. Trying not to let on what he now suspected.

Rose all of a sudden felt overwhelmed with emotion, days like these, when they couldnât save anyone, they hit her more than they used to. The TARDIS had helped her print everything off, all the old photos from her phone. And when feeling like this she couldnât help but look through them, feeling guilty for missing the life she once had. She was back in the TARDIS but the pain of getting still haunted her.
âOh I ââ Rose jumped and wiped away her tears, closing shut the photo album. âI just â weâll yâknow. Iâm fine â Iâm fine.â

Rose was saddened by the thought that she would likely never hear the words âI love youâ coming from him again. Seeing his face and how they used to be, she was so used to it, to being affectionate. It was just a weird relationship to go back to now. âDonât be sorry, itâs not your fault. Most of the time mâfine â just now and again really.â
He held her a little closer. He could do this for her at least. He could offer as much comfort as he was able to. âIâm here. Any time. For anything.â

Coming to the park to play a few menial games had never been Williamâs idea of a good time. The swinging doors opened and closed quite often, sometimes it was, as the Hosts called them, Newcomers, and other times it was other Hosts. Both in the mood to a drink and have a good time during their stay at Sweetwater. None of it meant a damned thing. Not like it could, if given the opportunity. William ignored both guest and Hosts as they made their way through the door until one man came waltzing in wearing a long brown coat and looked wildly out of place.
âHowâd the hell you get in here dressed like that?â William huffed as he looked over his shoulder at the strange man that would look normal dressed in clothes like the ones that he was wearing out in the real world. âYou donât look like one of the park employees.â
The Doctor turned to the man in black at the card table. He certainly seemed like the kind of man who knew things, and what he said confirmed it. He squinted at him.
âEmployee?â he said, then looked around, âPark?â All of a sudden, everything snapped into place.Â
âPark!â he said, smile growing huge, as he spun around to take in every single detail. The costumes, the building, the people.Â
âMind you, that is properly brilliant,â he said, speaking at a mile a minute, âNearly had me fooled! Weeeell, you can still tell in the little details. The smell for one. My god did the Old West stink! Had to tone that one down for the guests, eh? Knock you off your feet in this century! Hello, Iâm the Doctor!â He shoved himself into a seat at the table, offering his hand to the man, smile beaming.

âDo you want to talk about it?â he asked, tilting his head, scooting a little closer. He felt like he could do that, like it was easy. What was this? It was right at the tip of his mind. Right there....

âIs that why itâs affecting us?â Aurora asked, trying not to show how much in pain she was.Â
The Doctor was absentmindedly rubbing his chest, trying to push it all down. It wasnât all that hard to push away. He had a lot of practice doing so. âCan you show me? Show me where itâs coming from?â

âI know itâs just strange. Youâre the same person but youâre â not.â She whispered and shook her head slightly as she rested against the Doctor. She had told the other Doctor so many things, as had he with her. She knew things about the Doctor he would never tell her now. âItâs odd thatâs all. Sometimes itâs a lot for me to take in.â
âI understand,â he said, âItâs...complicated. Seeing someone you know so well and suddenly not knowing them at all. Iâm sorry. Iâm so sorry.â Heâd known this was going to be complicated. Heâd known it might hurt Rose and he hated that. But he loved her. He loved her so much, and he didnât want to lose her again.

That was so typical of the Doctor always wanting to help. The Master knew that much would never change. âOhh its nothing.â he was tired as well. He wasnât sure if the Doctor would even take notice of his TARDIS which was in the form of a tree.
âComing out here, looking all sad and tired. That doesnât seem like nothing to me,â he said, trying so hard to pick at that feeling in his chest and find its source.

The Master was looking at him. âI needed some time to think.â was all he said. The time lord was looking sad. He didnât want to think about how things had changed so much between him. This Doctor had no clue about what was coming or about who he really was. He was wondering how long it would take the Doctor to figure out who he really was.
âThink about what?â he asked. The man was looking so sad. He wanted to help. And there was something deeper nagging at his chest. A deeper need to help. Like a memory.

The group of Kids approached the two Time Lords. One of them lifted his man-made brain before communicating. âDoctor. Aurora. Welcome.â He spoke up with no emotion.
â...yes, hello, there,â the Doctor said, trying to smile, trying to suss out what was going on here. But the sorrow was clenching at his chest and it hurt.

The Master was looking at him. He wanted to play on it for a little bit. Just to see how long it took the Doctor to work it out. âNo, I donât think so.â The time lord was enjoying messing with him a little. It always had been fun trying to see if the Doctor would figure it out.
â...huh,â he said, âCouldâve sworn. Ah, well.â He smiled, but he still couldâve sworn. He was so familiar and yet he didnât recognize the face at all. âWhat brings you out here?â

Aurora paused, following the connection from her mind. âSorrow.â She frowned. Wondering why she was feeling like this. Before she could continue to say more, she lifted her head to notice a few figures walking over to them.
He clutched his chest a little.Â
âYeah...Iâm feeling it too,â he said. He didnât like this. He wanted to go back. But he could see a group of figures walking over to them.

Aurora turned to the Doctor. âPerhaps we should check it out. The curiosity is bubbling up inside of me.â She said as she began to head for the doors. Something in her mind told her to put on a coat. So she did.

The Doctor smiled up at Aurora. Heâd heard interesting things about this planet and had wanted to check it out. Secret, but interesting. It had something to do with psychics, and with the both of them being psychic, he wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
âYou ready?â he asked.
âIâm always ready to go.â Aurora replied with a grin upon her face.
She had grown curious to the planet that he was taking her to. She kept asking where they were going. But once they arrived towards the planet, she was quickly connected telepathically to the planet that made her realize where they were at.
The Doctor connected too, looking around in intrigue.Â
âWell...this certainly is something else,â he said.

The Doctor hummed happily as he wandered around. It was nice to have days like these, just a walk around some park somewhere with no danger or adventure or anything. A little calm time to himself once in a while should be good for him, so long as he focused on the scenery instead of everything going on in his head. And there was always something going on in his head.
Take for example, that man sitting on the park bench. He was looking at him like he wanted to hide away. Something was definitely off about that. But he shouldnât focus in. No, this was his time to just calmly walk in the park.
âŠoh, who was he kidding? He couldnât resist intrigue. He walked over with a big smile and plopped down next to him.Â
âHello, there! Iâm the Doctor!â he said.
The Master looked up when he noticed the Doctor approach him. Of course, he would because it was in the Doctorâs nature to try and help others. He did miss the Doctor at times. This Doctor had been so desperate to help him and have him back as a friend even. He didnât recognize him? Maybe he could have a bit of fun then. Damn now he needed a fake name. He couldnât use Harold Saxon again, That was too obvious, âHello.â he was thinking. This Doctor didnât know him as O, maybe that would work.Â
He looked the man over as they sat there. There was something...familiar. He couldnât quite put his finger on it, though. Something just...buzzing in the back of his head.
âSorry to ask, but have we met before?â he asked.

The Master sighed as he was sitting on a park bench. His TARDIS was not far away from having disguised as a tree. He was tired having just escaped with his life from Gallifrey. He had planned to have his TARDIS nearby so he could escape and he had. The Cyberium and the Cybermasters were gone though. But he was wanting to avoid the Doctor, at very least Thirteen. He wasnât counting on another Doctor finding him and saw the younger DOctor wandering around. âShit,â he muttered quietly to himself. That hadnât been apart of the plan at all by a long shot. @howdidhegetinâ
