listen i know i can’t just show up at your apartment at six in the morning but i need coffee and no one makes it like you do 

we broke up after i left and moved away and months later i find out you rushed to the airport to stop me but you were too late

we keep showing up at all the same places separately because we’ve always had similar interests

“I can’t decide that as much as I can’t decide between my favorite sister. However, Joey and I have a different bond than Jesse and I do. It’s not less than, but its different. I feel like Jesse and I have similar paths now--we both returned from doing our own thing to help out our families--so Jesse, I guess. Just because we relate more, I think.”

Was it hard being the middle-child? Or did you find it somewhat freeing because you are not the eldest and you aren't the youngest?

“It wasn’t hard...but it wasn’t easy either. DJ had to be the example for both of us, and Michelle--well, she was the youngest. She was the innocent one. I was able to have a little more freedom, sure. But with three dads in the house..I didn’t get away with much. Thinking back, I probably would have, had it just been my dad. But with Joey and especially uncle Jesse? Between the three of them, they knew what rebellious signs to look for. But if you’re asking if I had the typical middle child syndrome? Yeah, maybe. There were times where I felt forgotten.”

“I-I..how am I supposed to decide that? DJ...She helped raise me, you know? Mom died when I was six and Aunt Becky...she didn’t come until later. But Michelle? She and I are just as close but in a different way..but, we’re not as close as we used to be with her being in New York, and well, I live with DJ again.”
