INFPs When They’re Done

It takes a lot to truly piss off an INFP. They’re slow to anger and usually willing to give others the benefit of the doubt and be understanding. But when the INFP has had enough, they don’t hesitate to put their foot down.

The moment they decide to cut someone from their lives, they begin detaching immediately. They don’t waste time by dwelling in the past or ruminating over everything. They don’t give themselves the chance to second guess what they’re about to do. They just act.

Powerful speeches about how badly the person fucked up are delivered. Then numbers are deleted. Social media accounts are blocked. Pictures and gifts are thrown out. Everything they had that was associated with the individual is gone within an hour and all the bridges are burned so that all they’re left with are the memories. And gradually, some of those become suppressed. Others just forgotten, as they find new things to fill the empty space with until they can feel whole and normal again.

So if an INFP acts this way, just know that whoever it’s about must be a truly toxic person. The INFP chooses to see the good in everyone and help others, even if they think they’re unworthy of it. For an INFP to come to this point and bail out anyway speaks volumes.
