A cold, rainy wind blows throughout the Bay today. Under these dark circumstances at night, valiantly a cohort doest code throughout the dusk. Or if not coding, making wireframes and fleshing out project proposals at the behest of the packet gremlins that rule our existence. An old lady on a roller was walking around asking for change outside where I live, and I explained to her my predicament. She said she didnāt know what a wireframe was, but she knew that the government had wiretapped her mainframe and was about to gigaload her external RAM. Thatās when I woke up from my dream and realized I need to find some stronger coffee.

Pokemon ... I felt like I hadnāt evolved past grade school when I saw the Pokemon in the background and started pointing out their names to my partner. Memories flashing back. If my sixth grade self was likeĀ āIt would totally take me like a decade to build a Pokedex,ā turns out I was right. Now all I need to learn to do is program Porygon and clone Mewtwo and I will be the best there is, like no one ever was. I was trying to explain to a bum on the street today the glories of Poke-Programming and they did not seem as enthused. They must have been the type to pick Charmander instead of Bulbasaur.

built a synth today, cool stuff! wish i had understood it more but I definitely want to flesh it out. complex things. using them is one thing haha. i saw a bum drooling walking around talking to people and wondered if that was essentially how people view me with programming. Until he drooled on me and then I woke up, realizing it was a dream and that someone was knocking on my door asking for drugs. The bay is full of such interesting journeys.

real caribbean flavor here. Today should be a good day! Learned how to React and how not to React. Bit tired. A bum asked me for change and I gave them a quarter. They said they were so happy, they could cry and I told them the last time I cried from happiness was watching the Lion King. Oh wait, those were tears of sadness watching Mufasa plunge to his death. The truth shall be revealed.

Man. Definitely was burnt out at the end of the week after the assessment. Ajax was interesting and Iām looking forward to learning React and Flux. I had a surreal moment earlier when I took a Lyft ridesharing thing and the guy who turned out to be my Lyft driver was a rapper who asked me if I liked hiphop then played me his mixtape. Then the guy in the front seat turned out to be an Asian rapper of Vietnamese descent and started playing his songs on the Bluetooth system. Then the Korean chick next to me was likeĀ āAre all of yall rappers? Because Iām going to a rap show with a Korean rapper. My friends are in line right now and tickets were 80 dollars. Iāll pull up a video of him. Isnāt he cute? He looks like a mouse?ā Crazy times in SF, thatās for sure.
