I’m Ryan Gillespie, a Public Relations major at the University of Alabama with a concentration in Digital Communication and a minor in Digital Consumer Engagement. I started my media journey with @ieltswithryan, an Instagram account where I taught English and grew it to over 50,000 followers in six months. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in digital media. My portfolio highlights my work with Adobe tools and my passion for using creativity to solve communication challenges and engage audiences.

For this assignment, I had to sketch four concepts of the front of a business card, then design the final product in InDesign. The main goal of this project was to make the phrase "One melt at a time" the focal point of the card using only color. I did this by coloring the phrase a bright and bold red that contrasts against the yellow. The other copy in this design blends in easily, allowing for the key phrase to be highlighted. However, the contrast of the color palette makes the information easy to digest. The graphics of this card include a dripping cheese-like effect that provides the visual of a gooey grilled cheese sandwich.
