        “right, you have an aesthetic to maintain.” stifling her giggles proves to be more difficult than she thought, but she manages. picking up her shears ami takes it upon herself to run a hand through his hair once again, gathering pieces of it between her fingers. “it’d be such a shame if something were to ruin it.”

     bringing his ends between the blades ami snips them before jae-ha has a chance to protest, or even worse squirm again. “but i’ll play with your hair all you want when we’re done, how’s that?” she adds, snipping away at more of his ends as she gathers them. that’s if he even wants to let her near his hair by the time she’s finished.

probably up until she was like thirteen ami actually did practice boxing with her dad and brother, and eventually got a little into kickboxing, but she ultimately decided not to continue or pursue it further because she realized it wasn’t actually something that was really her thing. but she did always like helping her dad out, like figuring his stats or getting anything he might have needed. part of that is what lead her to managing track in high school before her dad passed.

and; ami used to feel extremely close to her mom, and while she can understand her response to her father’s passing, she can’t really help but feel emotionally abandoned by her because she basically left ami to take care of the family and then when things did feel like they were improving between them, when ami told her she was pregnant and her mom ended up kicking her out it just kind of brought that feeling back to the surface, and then given things that have gone down between her brother and her mom’s boyfriend, ami just finds it particularly hard to forgive her at the moment and every so often her feelings toward her mom fluctuate but it’s rarely positive. it just kind of felt like she had a rug pulled out from under her.

THREE THINGS THAT YOUR MUSE LIKES DOING IN THEIR FREE TIME:

1. spend time with hiro, hands down. whether its going somewhere or doing things in the apartment, as long as she’s with hiro she’s a happy camper.

2. one of her favorite things is probably curling up to watch kdramas or terrace house while she paints her nails.

3. if she can get someone to try things like face masks with her its a good night in her book. she loves finding new skin care stuff and helping people find things that work them.

TWO THINGS YOUR MUSE REGRETS:

i think one might be how much she works, just because she wants to spend more time with hiro and worries that she’s not doing enough of that. like she takes him with her when she does hair on models for runway or photoshoots but other than that she just misses him a lot and wishes she could spend more of her day with him.

other than that she doesn’t really regret much of anything.

TWO PHOBIAS YOUR MUSE HAS :

failure, probably. she worries a lot about being a bad mom or not being enough of a parent, letting hiro down and everything. even before she had a kid i’d say ami was constantly worried about letting people down. her mom’s reaction to her pregnancy was kind of like the epitome of that of that fear.

serious relationships would probably be another one atm. like ami loves the whole being in love thing but its the heartbreak that scares her. since her relationship with hiro’s dad she’s had a hard time seriously opening up in that department. having a kid is another thing that she would consider makes it easier or more difficult there, because while it gets rid of people that can’t handle that kind of thing, if it doesn’t get rid of them i think then she’s more afraid of opening up and running the risk someone wouldn’t want to stick around.
