I love this film!
Fantastic!
Stop-Motion Moana
“We can rebuild her… We have the technology… We know the way!”
A few months ago I ripped apart a Moana doll and made it into a stop-motion puppet using a kinetic armature kit.
The walk cycle above was the first thing I animated with this puppet, and was just a throw-away practice test with no green screen. I had never done a walk cycle in stop-motion before and soon discovered how difficult animating a straight-ahead cycle within a localized space with no retakes could be.
I showed the cycle to my dad while he was holding my Moana puppet in his hand and he seemed more impressed with this crappy test than the actual animation I did on the movie! I think the combination of him holding the puppet, and then seeing it come to life on the video before him was what blew him away. I guess that’s the appeal and magic of stop-motion. :)
Here’s a second test I animated for fun:
I read that it’s best to have the foot joints nice and tight to hold the weight of the puppet, and have the arms looser. It’s amazing how much weight those toe and foot ball-joints could hold for the falling poses:

This gifset shows how Gabriella gives Ariel a sign name based on her long hair, notice how she use the first letter of Ariel’s name in sign form (letter ‘A’) to ‘write/draw’ with both hands the hair of our favorite redhead.
In Deaf culture and sign language, a sign name (or a name sign) is a special sign that is used to uniquely identify a person, just like a name.
Name signs come in all forms. Some are based on the person’s birth name or initials. Some are based on their physical features or personality traits. And other name signs might be based on the person’s interests.

Excellent!
great👌
video history
Did you know that Yugioh has lots of things in common with Code Geass?
More precisely, the most recent movie sequal of each anime shares strikingly similar elements :D
Some of you, my dear followers, might be confused as I started to spaz about Code Geass, an anime as old as human history. Let me give you my excuse: Code Geass and Yugioh have so much in common that they now drive me nuts in equal measure. I'm terribly weak for all the elements listed above.😂😂
“ Indeed, it’s been 10 years… there can’t be any human who doesn’t grow old… if they are human, that is. ”
God I love this art style soo much, wish I could make my art look like this

This!!!! Spread this message around. Crying is good!!!!
Male. Female. Non binary. Doesn’t matter. We all have the right to feel our emotions!
Tears are a safety valve. Hard to believe they are forbidden to half the population. Without them, this pressure cooker would just explode
@simplyclockwork we were just talking about this… so important
@keirgreeneyes yes, it is! let men have emotions! let men cry! normalize emotional men!
