Finally made a proper ref sheet for Lacey!!

For anyone who may not know, Lacey is my sona/self-insert for the KP universe, but she is absolutely a different/more idealized version of myself—I am definitely not a black belt, nor am I skilled in multiple areas the same way she is! I wanted to make an OC who, similarly to Shego, could provide a good contrast for Drakken, so I made her athletically inclined since he needs someone to kick butt for him lol. Her parents put a crazy amount of pressure on her when she was growing up and put her in tons of extracurriculars, so that’s why she’s good at all kinds of sports and whatnot.

I haven’t written or outlined a proper full story for her and Drakken yet, but essentially it would take place after the events of the KP finale, in an alternate universe/possible future where Drakken wants to go good, Shego wants to stay evil, and they unfortunately break up and Drakken ends up backsliding into evil again to try and win Shego back. I imagine Lacey starts working for him as a “temp” henchwoman, one he plans on letting go of eventually, and the two of them actually end up becoming really close. Drakken realizes he wants to keep her around and their partnership blossoms into something more. Lacey isn’t really evil—she just finds supervillains really cool. Being an “evil” henchwoman is pretty much just a job for her, and she actually likes KP and Ron, but she’ll fight them since it’s part of the job. Over time she encourages Drakken to accept the good within himself and ultimately leave evil behind. Shego would definitely make an appearance in the story, but not as some threat or antagonist. Lacey actually thinks she’s super cool—maybe the two of them would become friends at some point.

But yeah, that’s Lacey! No clever pun for her name or anything, she’s just “Lacey” lol. I wonder what her ship name with Drakken would be. Dracey? Something else? If you guys have any ideas I’m all for them!

Shego and Lacey are chill. They don’t hang out a whole lot since in my AU, Shego doesn’t work for Drakken anymore and is usually off doing her own thing, but they get along pretty well. It took Shego a sec to get used to Lacey’s enthusiasm, but Lacey’s managed to earn her respect
