GENERAL LIFE UPDATE
Yesterday I did not update because nothing too exciting happened.
I cooked a celeriac and leek soup and ended up not having any because I had an upset stomach. My boyfriend loved it very much though, so that’s a plus. I managed to clean the apartment a little bit too, but the baby was so fussy that she took all of my energy.
Once she was asleep, we managed to file our taxes, so that’s a little positive on this not so productive day.
Today will probably be just as lazy. I still don’t feel all that well. I was supposed to go to the pediatrician with my daughter this morning, but I canceled and asked for a new appointment in april. I have NO ENERGY AT ALL.
I also need to call a medical clinic to get an appointment for blood works to check on my thyroid.
FOOD
Food intake is steady. It’s still not perfect, but I’m kind of proud of me. Yesterday was all over the place after my breakfast. (I had scrambled tofu, potatoes, oranges and coffee), but after that I didn’t get one minute to myself so it went haywire and I snacked on whatever didn’t feel too heavy on my stomach.
I still don’t know what today will look like. It will probably be a lot of soups or veggie broth.
You can add me on MFP. I have an open diary : humptydumptylikescandy
Until next time guys!!
good for the heart.

I had a Beyond meat breakfast sandwich from A&W and OMG, this is what heaven tastes like.
Confession time
I have been eating like crap all week. When I say crap… I MEAN crap! It’s been raining a lot and I wasn’t feeling well. I know it’s not an excuse and I should especially watch out for these moments and try better at these times but I didn’t.
The week had started out well but at one point during the week it went haywire. Lots of fried, fatty and salty food.
I have gained, I don’t know how much exactly, but I’m pretty sure i’m back to square one. So as of tommorow i’m going to really try. Gym time and lots of fruits and veggies. I’ll get back on my 32 oz of water a day and leave the chips, the thai food, the bacon and everything else out of my house.
Recipes for the next two weeks:
Ramen soup with beef 🍜 🥩
Ginger Shakin’ beef 🥩 (Jamie Oliver’s recipe)
Cauliflower and coconut soup 🥣 🥥 (Jamie Oliver’s recipe)
Tomato and sausage gnocchis
Stuffed croissant 🥐 with ham, cream cheese and spinach
Quiche
Mussels in white wine and leeks
Grocery shopping haul
Sorry I haven’t been as present this week as I’ve been in the past weeks. I’ve had a very hard time with my daughter being sick and not getting enough sleep, I didn’t have motivation for much except for binge watching Once Upon a time and The Food Network (and trying to get some sleep).
Since I missed monday’s weigh in, i’m not going to do one this week, I will still take some measurements before the week is over so I can have some kind of progress to share.
Tonight I went grocery shopping for the two weeks to come. I’ve packed my fridge with so many delicious foods that I seem to want to cook everything all at once. My weekly menu will be coming up in another post. (Also I just got a Costco membership since baby formula is wayyyy cheaper there and I just loveeee it soooooo much!!)
Here’s what I bought:
From Costco:
4x500g of Bacon (to be frozen for later use)
2x500g of Cottage Cheese
6x1L of chicken broth
2x Mussels
1 bag of Our little rebellion crisps
Ham
Beef
A block of Jarlsberg cheese
A box of Mott’s Fruitsation gummies
From the grocery store:
1 head of cauliflower
Rosemary
Garlic
Spring onions
Celery
Leeks
Bok Choy
Baby Spinach
Coconut milk
Noodles
1 tin of large croissant dough
Plain yogourt
Cream cheese
Cranberry orange morning round pita bread
White wine (to cook the mussels)
September 7th 2018
Been Bruce Springsteen-ing my day and now it’s gotten a whole lot better. They are some artists who can really turn your day around and in my case it’s The Used or the good ol’ Boss.
The baby is feverish due to her shots yesterday, so no going out today. I have some cleaning up to do but I really don’t feel like it. (BUT!! I did clean my bath... so that’s a win. At least I cleaned something) I haven’t been feeling very well and it’s showing in my day’s intake. I am trying super hard to eat at least my BMR, but as for now I have only eaten 1/3 of my BMR worth of calories.
Breakfast: 2 quinoa bread toasts with mustard and 4 slices of capicollo and 3 slices of prosciutto cotto. Coffee with cream.
Lunch: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. 17 Our Little Rebellion’s beets and peas crisps. 1 whole orange bellpepper.
Snacks: Feta and cucumber mini greek salad. Diner: Probably the last serving of my Jamie Oliver’s aubergine curry with greek yoghurt. Add me on MyFitnessPal: Humptydumptylikescandy. I am online everyday and have an open diary.
