Help a Black & Indigenous queer couple out the mud!

Hey I have been away from being online for some time to deal with trauma from recent violence, and now I have 30 days to move out of my childhood home as the landlord will be selling it very soon.

I have been unable to work for sometime and my partner is fresh in a new position. We do not yet have the funds to make first and last months rent upfront. We really need support to not end up homeless during the peak of summer with our dog.

The average rent in our area is around $1,900, so for first and lasts month it is around $3,800 upfront. My partner and I are greatful for any and all support, thank you.

the reception to death of the silver surfer is so strange to me. I gave it a read today and I was really into the way Pak explored this character who is in an asian american diaspora and is victim to the expectation to fall in line with americanism and become culpable to atrocities; so when she becomes the silver surfer she parallels the way Norrin had to free himself from being the herald of galactus Kelly Koh must free herself from being the herald of american imperialism which is fascinating. Pak weaves in so much about ICE as well as International Occupation and Violence. there is a scene in the first issue that makes his feelings on Palestine very apparent which I think helps sell Kelly, a woman of color who is essentially a suped up ICE agent, as a complicated terrible person who is given responsibility to do the opposite of who she was forced to become as a worthwhile character to explore and develop.

It is not a story that aims to solve everything within the mini and I do hope someone picks up Kelly and does something with her cause shes fascinatingggg
