autumn dates pt 1

tanjirou - carving pumpkins

just imagine how much fun you two will have to pick out pumpkins for each of the crew! and you bet that he will try to carve one resembling each of them!! that day is gonna be filled with lots of laughter and storytelling!

nezuko - cuddling by the fireplace

much like inosuke, nezuko likes to get spoiled rotten with affection from you. you‘ll both sit cuddled in close under a blanket together, sharing a comforting silence with only the cracking of the fire as your background music. well, i‘m off to wish you a goodnight because you‘re definitely going to fall asleep!

zenitsu - going window shopping

the sight of the two of you walking around town could melt hearts. but what melts especially zenitsu‘s heart is seeing you in all the cute outfits he drags you to try on once he spots something! might take a while though because you just look so cute in everything!!

inosuke - reading a book together

i know this sounds the least ‚inosuke‘ out of all date ideas, but hear me out: just imagine inosuke laying his head on your lap and slowly dozing off as you read him fairytales. as much as he loves running around and fighting people, he loves to get spoiled by his most favorite person in the world even more!

genya - stargazing

grab your blanket and (your hehe) genya and watch the stars!! if you‘re really lucky you‘ll see a shooting star, but i doubt genya would see it anyways. after all you‘re the brightest star to gaze at (wink wonk)

kanao - movie marathon

kanao isn‘t the best and most comfortable when it comes to having a conversation, so a movie night would be ideal! just preparing all the snacks is already gonna be lotsa fun and the movie marathon afterwards even more rewarding after all your hard work!! (and besides that!! our hardworking girl needs some rest too!!) be prepared to melt thanks to her cuteness once she feels confident enough to lean her head on your shoulder (although in reality it‘s more likely that she just fell asleep..)

💋 4. Do they like to surprise you with kisses?

Yes and no, Genya’s not a fan of surprises–giving or receiving–it makes him a bit nervous. Surprise kisses happen very slowly, it takes him a bit of time to work up the courage to. However, when he does surprise you with a kiss he finds that he enjoys it a lot more than he thought he would. So, he tries it more often. Keyword tries, he still sometimes messes up: instead of kissing your lips he’ll end up kissing your cheek. You’ll just smile at him and say it still counts, which makes him a blushy mess. Most of them happen when he’s returned back from an assignment, he’ll approach you for a hug but then find himself going in for a kiss.

💋 10. What are make-out sessions like?

They take a long, long, long, time to happen. The poor boy gets so flustered at the thought of kissing you, the thought of making out with you would make him pass-out. However, when it does ultimately happen they’re softer than normal sessions. Genya doesn’t want to overwhelm you, so in the beginning he’ll lead to it with a somewhat passionate kiss before going into the thing with full on strength. Afterwards, he’ll quietly and awkwardly ask, “Uh, do you think we could…do that again?” If you say yes, it’ll be like going back in time. He does the same thing he did the first time.

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns. 

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful. 

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha
