         The goddess was quite perplexed at the hoard of questions flung at her, and it took her a moment to compose herself before she could respond. "--well, yes. Winter is actually the prime time to hunt, because during the summer time animals tend to contract numerous diseases which are transmitted by fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Not to mention, animals tend to give birth to their young during this season, and it's hard to differentiate between some small animals and their mother. It's better to hunt them when they're older, anyways."

❦~} Seeing the goddess suddenly bolt away from her caused the constellation great concern. Just why had her name elicited such a reaction from the other girl? She couldn’t understand it at all. Staying where she was, the brunette tilted her head to one side, a look of confusion mixed with concern spread across her face as she shifted where she sat, hands gripping faintly at the blades of grass beneath her. "Um… Is something wrong, ma’am…?" Kallista questioned, voice tentative. "Did I say something wrong…?"

          The huntress had no words, no thoughts. It was the woman before her who struck down her very beloved, and she had been honored for it. Artemis was disgusted, to put it simply, and her expression resembled one of pain. "I----" she couldn't manage to find the words to speak, for she could barely even think properly. Her mind, racing, and her throat, dry. "You-- you should get out of my face, and soon." As much as she'd love to feel the blood of her vengeance pulse down her wrists, she was tired of being a monster, and she was tired of hurting.

          Artemis chuckled before drawing in a quick breath. "Valentine's Day has never been my favorite, but I thank you for the sentiments."

❦~} For a few moments, it seemed like the entire world was spinning around her. By the time Artemis had come to her aid, at least her vision had straightened out, even if her stomach was churning faintly. "…Forest…?" Kallista couldn’t quite remember how she had ended up there, but with any luck, her memory would kick back in soon enough. At the question the goddess presented to her, the brunette took a few moments to think before quietly responding. "…Scorpio… or Kallista… I guess it depends on whatever you want to call me…" Good, at least that much was still in tact.

          The other had seemed quite faint-- and was fairly hot to the touch. Her words had been barely audible, and the deity struggled just to hear her mumble those two syllables. "--yes, you're in the forest." Artemis had been unaware of the damage done to the girl, and only took note in the fact that she had been a bit dazed judging by her delayed responses and reactions. The goddess, too, was a bit delayed in her reactions, seeing as it had taken her a moment to jump back after hearing the forbidden name. Her whole body jolted backwards, stumbling and crawling away. She had never thought that such a name could elicit such deep emotions, especially the very emotions that she'd done so well at hiding.
