The Legend of Zelda: Delicious in Dungeon Coming to your favourite consoles: never, sorry
I think of this moment often.
Jon is the type of guy who straight up forgets trespassing is a crime. Mr. "my grandmother threatened to lock me up because the police kept catching my 8 year-old ass in random places." Even before paranoia made him reckless he was getting into shit like the worlds most curiosity motivated cat. Internal compass having motherfucker. Old lady home invader. Discovering that there was a massive tunnel complex under the institute mustve been a little like Evil Christmas to him. Martin has to have looked him dead in the eyes at some point while his trespasser boyfriend tries to tell him its fine to have a peek inside an abandoned taco bell because he "just wants to see whats in there 😐🧍" then suggests they take a shortcut through a hole in some barbed wire fences to pass through an active railyard on their way home.
there is something erotic about watching someone be extraordinarily competent at something especially if they're also really passionate about it
My humble offering to the TMA people
Brennan: there is some homebrew coming, there are subclasses-
Everyone:
Everything that Brennan said in this most recent fireside about how he built Steel is so important to me, actually, because it's so true about what Real Life Bad People look like.
Like. I recently lost my pappaw. My mother's father. And by the end of his life, I didn't even want to speak to him. But that's not how things started! As I got older and I started to see him for who he was, as I began to understand the abuse my mom and her siblings endured, as I removed myself and my kids from his presence to escape his manipulations and racism and hatred...
I also knew that I couldn't erase the fact that he was the pappaw that kept M&Ms in his pocket just to sneak them to the grandkids. That he was the one who rescued me from the loose dog that tried to maul me. That he was the one who hosted my tenth birthday at his pool and helped us flee from a rogue wasp. That he was the one who encouraged my love of learning and helped keep me from losing all belief in myself with his consistent praise.
There are a hundred stories like mine. Like Steel's and Suvi's. Stories of people who were kind and good and family until you saw what was in their heart. And it's so important to me to show that people who are evil can also act like good people. Can fool others into thinking they're good. Can believe that they themselves are good!
And it's so important to me to see Suvi's story, one of utter betrayal, one in which she loses a family member not to death but to something worse. A loss that means not just the loss of that important person in your life but the contamination of an entire lifetime of what were once good memories.
Will you just look, Gwen!
