Crossing the Daunt
Forbidden West is on the horizon and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it and lose many hours to its photo mode, which, from the reviews, looks promising although might take a bit to adjust to. Technically I'd made a promise to myself that I'll complete the game once without taking too many pics but I'm pretty sure that won't happen, as there'll be many trees, ruins and Thunderjaw selfies begging to be snapped. I have pre-ordered the game for PS5 back when the pre-orders went up and will be playing (and possibly taking pics) day 1, but due to it also being a time of major change in my life I don't know yet how much time it will take me to complete. In any case, I'll be restricting my pics here on the blog to landscapes, machines and Aloys for a while, omitting main quest locations. Nonetheless, if you want to steer clear of everything until you've seen and explored everything for yourself, you might still consider some of these spoilers (especially when it comes to machines. Being faced with a new "you're screwed"-machine was always a fun part of the Horizon experience for me, so I fully understand if you don't want to see them somewhere else). I'll be tagging everything with "horizon forbidden west" and "hfw" though, so you can easily mute them to avoid.
