went on a hike after work yesterday with my dad and a woman came like running out of the woods to tell us about a turtle laying eggs further up the path and we were like “oh sick!!!” and then spent the next 20 or so minutes looking for this turtle and we finally found it right as some people were passing by so we all stopped and watched the turtle and talked for a while about like…turtles and poets and AI and the state of education. it was a very good hike.
we saw this really cool tree also.
then we got ice cream after. I accidentally confused the ice cream store employee with my questions about the flavors so they gave me the wrong ice cream. or maybe I confused myself and ordered the wrong thing. but it was still tasty.
