thank you! watercolor is really fun and the tactile feel is really pleasant. it's affordable to start, it's really fast and forgiving compared to markers or color pencils or acrylics. i hope everyone gets to give it a go!

just wanted to say I only recently discovered you had a tumblr but I followed you way back in 2015 on instagram and you inspired me to buy my first watercolor set. I've been drawing seriously for ten years now because of that! I'm so happy to see you still putting out wonderful art!

he uttered the infamous last phrase "one last game" and what he meant was that it was his last game as a college athlete before graduation but the universe was like "you know what'd be REALLY funny :^)))))"

it wasn't even a particularly violent game, except for the fact that one freshman from the other team was really desperate for glory and it was the last chance to triumph over the king. anw, compound fracture that broke skin and snapped achilles tendon in the left leg bc that was how they went down. ppl thought he wouldn't even be able to walk unassisted again when they saw the injury on the broadcast

he's a stubborn bastard tho so (with a ridiculous amount of pampering and handfeeding in bed) he survived the surgeries and recovers p well and goes on to continue being a brat :^))))

Is your art traditional or digital? And if it’s traditional do you have any tips for photographing work?

Also also just know you are doing great work out here for the sugar baby riko/riko ‘understand-er’ (if that’s the right word? Bros such an interesting and good character if u stop just framing him as just ‘evil’) community, I’m a supporter till the day I die. 🫡

it’s analog watercolor!

i scan the finished piece at 600dpi (don’t do that btw i’m just a paranoid freak. if u want reasonable file size, do 350dpi) and if there are blurry spots i make a new scan with those spots pressed flat specifically. then i patch it all together in CSP and do any editing and overpainting there as well
