i genuinely love my job and yes there are people who should not be in education, working with kids, or in early childhood education because they actually don't like children . bruh if a 6 year old is defiant or a 7 year old isn't paying attention in class and you actually get ANGRY at them like enraged...what's wrong with you. they just got here. that being said correction is important, structure and routine and reprimanding are important, and so are compliments and acknowledgment. oh friend I see how quietly you are sitting. oh i see you helped clean up the reading corner, that is SO helpful, thank you so much. no thank you, we are not yelling in the bathroom, no, we are absolutely not putting our hands on others. like they really do not KNOW. I think screaming at school age children is beyond inappropriate and a sign that you should find another job lol

today I drank a big huge hard apple cider and made delicious pasta dinner and spent the day downtown with my best friend. It is shower ajd early sleep time 4 me and I will have a good rainy work day tomorrow and I am gonna meet all the kiddos 🥲🥲🥲 so cute
