How to: convert Beweather icons to work w/Zooper weather! ♡

*** Make sure you have a file manager installed (I highly recommend “ES File Explorer” from the playstore!) ***

Step 1: Go into your file manager & scroll down to the Zooper widget folder

Step 2: Go into the “IconSets” folder

Step 3: Choose a .zip file (aka an already packaged & converted icon set) and extract it. Once you do, you’ll see how each weather icon is named.

Step 4: Download the beweather that you want to convert and change the extension .bwi to .zip. It will turn it to a zip file. Extract it. Same thing goes if you’re converting an iPhone weather set.

Step 5: Pick out the weather icons that you want and rename them to match the zooper weather set you extracted before (this step is a bit time consuming because you HAVE to rename exactly how it zooper wants..otherwise it won’t works!)

Step 6: Then once you have all the icons renamed, package them and cut & paste them into the “IconSets” folder within the ‘ZooperWidget" folder.

To use your converted weather set in a widget:

- Hit the + button then select “Bitmap iconset” option and then select the weather set you want to use and you’re all set! Hope this helps! If you have any questions, leave a comment or DM me. ♡♡♡

How to use 3rd party fonts on android! (:

***As far as I know, this method will work on Samsung Galaxy devices running Marshmallow (7.0). If you try this method on a non-Samsung device and it doesn’t work, I’m sorry in advance! :( I’ve tested this method on my s7 edge and it works. Also, if you’re running Oreo (8.0), I reposted a tutorial above to get custom fonts to work for that OS (thanks Vivi! 😊)***

Apps you’ll need:

• Wings fonts app (https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=27444)

• Samsung Sans font app from the Samsung Galaxy App store http://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.monotype.android.font.samsungsans

• APK Editor from the playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.heagoo.apkeditor

How To:

Step 1: install the apps listed above

Step 2: open the APK Editor app and go to the “Select APK from app” option

Step 3: scroll down until you see the Wings app file. Tap on it then hit the “Simple Edit” option

Step 4: go to ASSETS > FONTS and then you’ll see the LONG list of fonts that come with the app.

Step 5: to use your own fonts, tap on the little pen & paper icon that is next to any of the fonts listed (I recommend using one of the very first ones listed)

Step 6: it will then ask you what file you want to replace the font with. Locate the font file that you want to use and tap on it. It will then be replaced. You can do this method to as many fonts as you’d like. The wings app itself comes with over 960 fonts lol

Step 7: once you’re done, hit the “SAVE” option on the bottom of the screen.

Step 8: when it’s done saving, hit “remove” and it’ll remove the Wings app from your phone and then hit “install” to install the new version of the app that you just saved

Step 9: go into your settings then go to Display > Screen zoom & font. It’ll take a couple of seconds for the font list to pop up

Step 10: locate the font that you want (it won’t say the actual 3rd party font name but you’ll know which font it is when you see it. Also, there’s apparently a bug in the Wings app where there are duplicates of each font and only one of the duplicates work. But don’t worry..one of duplicates will definitely work). Tap on the font and you should be all set! (:

How to make colorful texts in zooper widget (:

* in the zooper widget app, tap on “Layout”, then tap the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen

* tap on “Rich Text”

* scroll down and tap on “Edit Text Manually”

* if you want to input your own text where the time code is (#DHH#:#Dmm#), just erase it and then type in your text

* then tap on the “Markup/BBCode” option and below it, it should have a “color” option – tap on that & it’ll show this code “ [c=#123123][/c] ”

* between “[c=#123123]” and “[/c]”, put the first letter of the text you want. For example: [c=#123123]P[/c]

* repeat this step for the rest of the letters. Ex.: for PRINCESS – [c=#123123]P[/c][c=#123123]R[/c][c=#123123]I[/c] [c=#123123]N[/c][c=#123123]C[/c][c=#123123]E[/c] [c=#123123]S[/c][c=#123123]S[/c]

* now, in order to change the color of each letter, you have to replace the hex color code (#123123) with the code to the color you would like to use.

*** if you don’t know what the hex code for the color you want to use is, then I recommend hitting back and then scroll down and where it says “Text Font Color” and find the color you want from there OR if you’re like me and want colors to match the colors of a theme you’re using, screenshot your homescreen (or use the wallpaper that your using) and install the app “Pipette” from the playstore. With this app, you can easily get the hex color codes from pictures and wallpaper. Thanks to @loubeccabeewalls for recommending it! ***

* once you find the hex color code you want, copy it and paste it where it says “ #123123 ”

* repeat this step with each letter in the text

* once you have done all that, you should be all set!

How to Use Beweather Icons in “Weather Timeline”! 💖⛅☔📱

For those who want to use beweather (and iPhone weather sets) in the WT app, here’s how to do so! 👇🏽👍🏾

What you’ll need:

ღ ES File Explorer app

ღ APK Editor app

And of course…

ღ Beweather and/or IPhone weather set(s)

ღ Weather Timeline app

Step 1: Download a custom weather set (rather its a beweather or IPhone weather set).

Step 2: Go into ES File Explorer and tap on the DOWNLOAD option in the left side bar.

Step 3: Find the set you just downloaded and change the .bwi extension to .zip and extract it. (If you’re using an iPhone weather set, it’ll already be in. zip format so just extract it).

Step 4: Go into the extracted folder and select the following icons: clear/sunny, clear night, cloudy, fog, partly/mostly cloudy day, partly/mostly cloudy night, rain, sleet, snow, thunderstorm.

Step 5: Cut & paste the weather icons into a new folder and rename that folder to the name of the weather icon set.

Step 6: Now, go into the APK Editor app and select “Select Apk from App”.

Step 7: Scroll all the way down until you see Weather Timeline. Once you find it, tap on it then hit “Simple Edit”.

Step 8: Tap on “Images” (or just swipe left).

Step 9: Scroll down (there’s over 1200 images so it’ll take a few seconds lol) & locate the weather sets and replace the images according to the weather condition name (to replace the image, just tap on the little pen & paper icon on the right of the image and choose which image you want to use – they should be in your DOWNLOAD folder).

***As far as I know, the only weather sets that are already installed in the app that can be replaced are “Material” and “GraphBerry” (it’ll be called “Set_4” in apk editor.

To replace the “Material” weather set, replace these icons:

ღ clear_night_material.png

ღ cloudy_material.png

ღ fog_material.png

ღ partly_cloudy_day_material.png

ღ partly_cloudy_night_material.png

ღ rain_material.png

ღ sleet material.png

ღ snow_material.png

ღ thunderstorm_material.png

ღ wind_material.png

***Do the same when replacing the “GraphBerry” weather set. Just remember that it’ll say “Set_4” in the editor. Example: ( clear_day_set_4.png, fog_set_4.png, etc. )

Step 10: Once you’re done, tap on “Save” and it’ll create the Weather Timeline app you just edited.

Step 11: When it’s done, hit “Remove” and it’ll uninstall the old app and then tap on “Install” to install the app you just edited.

Step 12: After the app installs, open WT and setup your location and everything.

Step 13: Place a widget on your screen and it’ll open up the WT and where it says “Choose Icon Set”, choose the one you’d like to use.
